While she isn’t always in the weekly tournament spotlight, her value shows up in bigger evaluations and training settings. McKenzie Andrews is one of the most established names in the 2028 middle blocker group. She’s been part of the national pipeline for years now, with multiple NTDP invites, U17 National Team experience, and international success including a NORCECA championship. Our evaluation on her has been simple: she’s legit and already one of the brightest young stars in the sport. That still holds. Amari Frazier | 2028 | MB | AZ Storm

Amari Frazier has steadily built national experience through multiple NTDP cycles (15U Spring/Summer 2024, Winter 2024, Summer 2025) and continues that path with upcoming 2026 UA NEXT and NTDP opportunities. She’s also produced at a high level in Arizona high school play, earning 6A All-Conference First Team honors and helping win the 2025 Arizona 6A State Championship.Frazier plays with a lot of confidence and energy, and earlier evaluations pointed out her ability to impact matches in multiple ways and rise quickly on the national radar. Shaun Waller continues to establish herself as one of the top middle blockers in the 2028 class with TPV. She’s been involved in major national pathways, including U17 NTDP, Triple Crown NTDP, and a UA Next High School Camp invite, showing she’s consistently in high-level evaluation environments.Blair has flashed her upside through select camp opportunities and continues to draw attention for what her physical profile could become with continued development. Gracie White | 2028 | MB | Dallas Skyline

Gracie White has been a steady part of one of the most successful club runs in the country, helping Dallas Skyline capture three straight NIT Championships (2022–2024). That kind of consistent winning environment has helped shape her development early. She’s also been part of the USAV NTDP in both 2024 and 2025, showing she continues to stay on the national radar and compete among top-tier talent in her age group. Rilynn Wingenbach | 2028 | MB | HPSTL

Rilynn Wingenbach continues to rise as one of the more complete middle blockers in the 2028 class and is currently ranked #1 in Missouri for her graduating class. What’s really separated her recently is the physical jump. She has noticeably added strength, confidence, and presence at the net, looking like a different athlete compared to earlier evaluations. Her attack has become more assertive, and she’s playing with a level of aggression and control that stands out in a deeper middle blocker group. She’s also been heavily involved in the national pipeline through NTDP Winter, Spring, and Summer Training Series at the 16U level, showing continued trust in her long-term development. That upcoming NTDP window is expected to be an important moment for her trajectory. Wingenbach has clearly made a leap in both body and game. With continued growth ahead, she profiles as a physically evolving, high-upside middle who is trending strongly into the upper tier of the 2028 class.

Nlonna Okwura | 2028 | MB | Houston Jrs

Nlonna Okwura is one of the most physically unique middle blockers in the 2028 class with Houston Jrs. At first glance, she stands out for pure size and presence, and that translates directly into how she impacts the game at the net. At the December NTDP session, she immediately separated herself with her physicality—showing heavy terminal power offensively and establishing herself as a space-controlling blocker. She also showed she can score in multiple ways, including an effective slide attack, while staying active and impactful on both sides of the ball throughout the session. What makes Okwura especially interesting is how she plays the position differently than most in the class. She isn’t a conventional middle, but she is highly effective in her own style and brings a level of physical dominance that teams can build around. She remains a high-impact, system-fitting middle with a unique profile and clear physical advantages in the 2028 group.

Elite Red

Annabelle Ross | 2028 | MB | AZ Storm

Annabelle Ross is a high-upside middle blocker with AZ Storm who continues to develop through one of the strongest club and national pipelines in the country. She’s been heavily involved with NTDP programming across multiple cycles (U16 Winter 2024, Summer 2025, and upcoming U17 sessions) along with a UA Next Camp invite. She’s also had consistent success at the high school level, helping lead Arizona 6A teams to back-to-back state championships (2024 and 2025), reinforcing her ability to contribute in winning environments. Ross stands out immediately with her physical profile—long, rangy, and explosive. She’s a 10’4” jumper who can score in a variety of ways, including quicks, gaps, and slide attacks, while also creating a strong presence as a blocker due to her length and timing. She remains a high-ceiling middle with clear Silver-level upside, and her continued exposure at NTDP and top club competition makes her a serious long-term Power 4 target in the 2028 class.

Raegan Marshman | 2028 | MB | A5

Raegan Marshman brings one of the more intriguing physical profiles in the 2028 middle blocker group. She’s already produced at a high level, earning JV Offensive Player of the Year, helping win a 2024 5A State Championship, and landing on the AVCA Watchlist while also being recognized as a scholar athlete and newcomer of the year. What really stands out is the athleticism. With a 127” approach touch and 120” block touch, Marshman covers a ton of space at the net and has the tools to be a major presence on both sides of the ball. She plays more as a power and quick-route middle, using her length and explosiveness to create problems for blockers and attackers alike. She’s still developing in terms of consistency and polish, but the upside is obvious. With her physical tools already in place, Marshman is a high-ceiling middle who will draw serious Power 4 attention as she continues to develop her game.

Emmie Hill | 2028 | MB | Tribe Volleyball

Emmie Hill continues to trend upward as one of the more physically impressive middles in the 2028 class. She’s built strong national and local recognition, including NTDP Indoor Experience (2025), a 2026 NTDP training series invite, and multiple postseason honors in Florida. What immediately stands out is her size and length, but she pairs that with real athleticism. She moves well in transition, stays available offensively, and has shown she can score consistently against high-level competition. Her recent performances have backed that up in a big way, showing comfort and production at a higher level while continuing to rise within a deep middle blocker group. Hill is a long, athletic middle who is clearly trending up and making a strong push in this class.

Mali Nyankori | 2028 | MB | A5

Mali Nyankori is one of those middles who might not always get the volume, but the tools and upside are clearly there. Playing on a loaded A5 roster, opportunities can be limited, but when she’s involved, she shows why she’s firmly on the radar. She’s already been part of NTDP and has camped at programs like Vanderbilt and South Carolina, which tells you coaches are paying attention. At 6’1” with lift, she brings a strong presence at the net, especially as a blocker, and has shown she can run a slide and multiple routes effectively. Abbie Powell | 2028 | MB | Munciana

Abbie Powell is one of the more intriguing rising middles in the 2028 class. She made a huge impact early, leading her state in hitting percentage (.544) as a freshman and ranking 4th nationally in 2024, while also earning ACAC 1st Team All-Conference and District 6 1st Team honors. She fits that newer mold of middle—mobile, efficient, and built for the modern game. The production is already there, but it’s the upside and physical development that really have coaches paying attention. With the training environment at Munciana and her trajectory, Powell is a name that could look very different in a short amount of time. She’s a high-upside middle trending in the right direction and one to keep a close eye on moving forward.

Kinsley Ables | 2028 | MB | Infinity Volleyball Club

Kinsley Ables is a smooth, high-upside middle in the 2028 class who continues to build a strong foundation early. She’s produced at the high school level, earning AVCA All-Region honors (2024) while also leading Jackson Academy in hitting percentage, along with multiple recognitions across MAIS competition. What stands out right away is her arm and natural timing. She scores efficiently when in rhythm and shows the ability to develop into a more dynamic attacker, especially as she continues to add explosiveness to her approach. There’s also clear potential as a one-leg attacker as she gains more reps. She’s still developing physically, particularly in her lower half, but the upside is clear. With her fluidity and arm talent, Ables projects as a high-ceiling middle with a lot of room to grow and evolve in the 2028 class.

Sasha Slaughter | 2028 | MB | Absolute Volleyball Club

Sasha Slaughter is a developing middle in the 2028 class with Absolute Volleyball Club who has already competed in strong national-level events, including appearances at GJNC, Triple Crown NIT, and multiple Qualifiers, along with success in the NCVA 15 Championship. She’s also been part of the NTDP Spring and Summer Series (2025), continuing to gain experience against top competition. Offensively, her best work comes on quick attacks in front of the setter, where her timing and movement stand out. She’s still raw overall, but the athletic tools and natural ability are there. Slaughter is a high-upside middle with clear developmental room and growing impact potential in the 2028 class.

Allie Charvat | 2028 | MB | SG Elite

Allie Charvat is a long, athletic middle in the 2028 class with SG Elite. At 5’11” (71”), she brings strong length and bounce, already showing a 120+” approach touch that gives her real presence above the net. She’s part of a very athletic SG Elite group and provides balance in the middle with her ability to compete physically and stay active in transition. Her length allows her to be disruptive as a blocker, while her jumping ability gives her offensive upside as she continues to develop. Eliana Koram | 2028 | MB | Metro

Eliana Koram is one of the top middle blockers in the 2028 class. She’s a 3x NTDP participant and has consistently been in national evaluation settings, including a UA Next invite and AVCA Phenom Watchlist selection. She’s also been a key part of major championship teams, including a USAV 15 National Championship and multiple 15 Open titles at top national events. Koram continues to build a strong résumé backed by winning experience and national exposure, making her one of the more established middles in the 2028 group.
