Taimane Ainu'u continues to find herself on bigger and bigger stages. The Texas commit has already put together one of the most decorated résumés in the Class of 2028, but she's currently taking another major step forward while competing with Team USA at the U23 Pan American Cup. That's pretty remarkable territory for a player her age. Between her international success, national recognition and continued dominance in Hawaii, Ainu'u has established herself as a player who consistently rises to the occasion. She's also continuing her school season with 'Iolani, adding another chapter to an already incredible career. At this point, wherever Ainu'u is playing, she's worth watching.

Eva Cat Bower | 2031 | S/OPP | Idaho Crush | PPV: 96.1

Eva Cat Bower is already doing things that players several years older are working toward. The Class of 2031 standout made history as the youngest invitee to the 2025 NTDP Winter Training, where she more than held her own and posted the highest debut score ever for a middle school athlete. She followed that up with another NTDP opportunity in Spring 2026 and has continued gaining experience at camps with programs including Nebraska, Louisville and SMU. At 5'11" with a 121" approach touch and 116" block touch, Bower already has an eye-catching physical profile to go along with her versatility as a setter/opposite. She's only just getting started, but Eva Cat is already a name worth knowing in the next generation.

Nina Simanic | 2030 | OH/OPP | Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Club | PPV: 95.2

At 6'3", Nina Simanic is bringing some serious size to the Class of 2030 — and she's only beginning her freshman season. The Jacksonville Juniors standout has already built an impressive foundation, earning Florida All-Star All-Tournament Team honors and attending every NTDP session across the 2025–26 cycle. With a 122" approach touch and 117" block touch, Simanic has the physical tools to be a major presence on the pin, while camps at programs including Nebraska, Wisconsin and Pitt have given her early exposure to the college game. Now entering her freshman year at Beachside High School, Simanic is one of the young players we're especially interested in watching as her game continues to develop.

Gemma Hopkins has been a name to know in Texas volleyball for years, and now she's entering the final stretch of her high school career before heading to Arkansas. The Tomball High School standout has built an impressive résumé dating back to her freshman season, earning recognition as one of Texas' top young liberos while adding NTDP experience and national-level honors along the way. Known for her communication, aggressive pursuit of the ball and ability to make plays in big moments, Hopkins has consistently shown the qualities that separate elite defensive specialists. Now in her senior season, all eyes are on what's next for the Razorback commit as she gets ready to take her game to the SEC. Arkansas landed a talented libero, and Hopkins still has one more high school chapter to write first.

Keilani Ledaja-Brewer has all the tools to make a serious impact at the next level. The Louisville commit brings an explosive physical game to the outside, standing 6'0" with a huge 125" approach touch and the kind of arm that can change a match. Her rise through the Class of 2027 has been backed by continued development at major levels, including NTDP, AVCA Phenom and UA NEXT. Now, as she continues her journey at Chapel Hill High School, Ledaja-Brewer remains one of the most exciting athletes in the class — and with her best volleyball still potentially ahead of her, Louisville has plenty to be excited about.

It feels like we've been watching Averi Bridges prepare for this moment for a while now. From taking on some of the toughest competition at Nationals as a younger player to building her game through NTDP and USA Volleyball, Bridges has steadily grown into one of the names to know in a loaded 2028 libero class. Now a Penn State commit, she enters the next chapter with USA U19 National Team experience, JVA All-National Team honors, and years of high-level development already behind her. But the exciting part is seeing what comes next. At Millard West High School, Bridges has the opportunity to take everything she's learned from those big matches, camps and national-team experiences and continue putting it all together. She's steady, technically sound and already proven on major stages — now we're watching to see just how high her game can climb.

Annabelle Ross | 2028 | MB/OPP | AZ Storm Elite | PPV: 93.3

Annabelle Ross might be one of the quieter stars in the Class of 2028, but her game has never been easy to miss. The Cal commit has built a reputation as a disruptive force at the net, using her instincts and blocking ability to take away attacking lanes and make life difficult for opposing hitters. At 6'1" with a 125" approach touch and 120" block touch, Ross has the physical tools to match that defensive presence. She's also continued to gain experience at the highest levels, with multiple NTDP invitations and training experiences, a 2026 UA NEXT Camp invite, and back-to-back Arizona 6A State Championships with Xavier College Prep. As her offensive game continues to develop alongside an already dangerous blocking presence, Ross has all the ingredients to keep climbing in the 2028 class — and she's absolutely worth the watch.

Morgan Nesloney | 2028 | LIB/DS | TAV Houston | PPV: 91.9

Morgan Nesloney has spent the last few years proving that consistency pays off. From captaining a USAV GJNC National Championship team with TAV Houston to becoming one of the top defensive players at The John Cooper School, Nesloney has continued adding to her résumé at every level. Her run has been especially impressive, earning Varsity MVP and Defensive MVP, All-SPC recognition, and All-Tournament honors as the Elite Libero at the 2026 Triple Crown Summer NIT. The Rice commit has clearly continued to make the strides coaches were waiting to see. Between her championship experience with TAV, steady defensive game and growing list of individual honors, Nesloney has developed into one of the more reliable defensive names in the Class of 2028. Now the question isn't whether she's worth watching, it's how much more she can add in the next two seasons before she heads to Rice.

Anabelle Cummings | 2028 | LIB/DS | AZ Revolution | PPV: 91.5

Anabelle Cummings has already proven she can handle a big stage. As a freshman libero at Sandra Day O'Connor High School, she earned a role with the No. 13 nationally ranked high school team, immediately making an impact against elite competition. Her growing résumé includes Second Team All-State in Arizona, First Team All-Region, PrepVolleyball All-Southwest Region honors, and a 16U NIT Summer All-Tournament Team selection. Cummings has also continued gaining experience through NTDP and UA NEXT, while stacking recognition across both the club and high school levels. Already competing at one of Arizona's top programs, Cummings is quickly building a name for herself as one of the defensive players to know in the Class of 2028.

Auden Hummel | 2027 | OH/OPP | Municana Volleyball | PPV: 91.4

Auden Hummel has quietly put together the kind of high school résumé that makes you stop and pay attention. The 6'2" Indiana State commit has been a major force for Winchester Community High School, earning Second Team All-State honors in 2024 while also collecting All-Conference and All-County recognition. She led her conference in kills and has continued to show up in big moments with multiple All-Tournament Team selections. With her size, production and ability to impact the match from multiple pin positions, Hummel has built herself into a player worth watching as she continues toward the next level. Indiana State is getting a productive athlete with plenty still ahead of her.

Emmy Garner | 2028 | S/OPP | Tennessee Performance Volleyball | PPV: 91.5

Emmy Garner has already packed a lot of winning volleyball into her young career. The Auburn commit has been collecting major accomplishments since her middle school days, including a Tennessee Middle School State Championship and MVP, an AAU National Championship, and back-to-back AAU Nationals All-American honors. Now in her Junior year at Franklin High School, the 5'11" S/OPP is continuing to make her mark. Garner earned First Team All-District honors in 2025 and had already surpassed 1,200 career assists as a sophomore. With her versatility and ability to impact the game as both a setter and attacker, Garner is a player who has consistently found ways to stand out — and Auburn has a talented one headed its way.

Kylee Evans | 2027 | MB | A5 | PPV: 90.2

Kylee Evans brings some serious athletic tools to the middle. The 6'0" Clemson commit has an eye-catching 124" approach touch and 119" block touch, giving her the physical ability to be a major presence at the net. Her development has included high-level experience with the SRVA HP Girls U15 International Team and multiple USAV NTDP sessions. Representing A5 on the club side and Woodland High School, Evans has also earned national recognition, including AVCA Phenom All-American Second Team honors. With her combination of athleticism, experience and upside at the net, Evans is a middle worth keeping an eye on as she continues toward Clemson.

Aven Brantley | 2029 | OH | 3DGE Volleyball Club | PPV: 87.8

Aven Brantley is bringing a serious combination of size and athleticism to the Class of 2029. The 6'0" outside hitter has already made an impact at Mt. Lebanon High School, earning First Team All-Section honors in AAAA. With a 123" approach touch and 117" block touch, Brantley has the physical tools to be a major presence on the pin. She's also getting early exposure to the college game through camps at programs including Michigan State, Missouri and Vanderbilt. Still early in her volleyball journey, Brantley is a 2029 name with plenty of upside and one we're keeping an eye on.

Katherine “Kate” Jin | 2030 | LIB/DS | A5 | PPV: 88

Katherine “Kate” Jin is proving that her game — and her résumé — are already operating at a high level. The A5 defensive standout helped her team to a second-place finish at the 2026 AAU Nationals in 14 Open and fifth place at USAV Nationals in 14 Open, while also winning the 2026 Show Me National Qualifier and earning a bid through Big South. Jin has consistently competed for medals at the national level, but what makes her profile especially unique is what she's accomplishing off the court, too. A standout student at The Westminster Schools, Jin earned a 1530 SAT score in eighth grade, including a 790 in math, while also receiving the prestigious Steven W. Surbaugh Award for Excellence in Math and Science. She's bringing that same drive to volleyball, with camp experience at programs including Brown, Harvard and MIT. A high-level student-athlete with plenty already accomplished, Jin is a 2030 libero worth keeping an eye on.

Savannah Reid | 2031 | LIB/DS | A5 | PPV: 84.4

Savannah Reid already knows what winning looks like. The Class of 2031 libero has put together an impressive championship run with A5, highlighted by a USAV National Championship in 13 Open. Her 2026 season also included titles at the Summer NIT Invitational, Big South, Lil Big South and Southern Exposure, where she earned MVP honors. With four USAV qualifications in 13 Open and a growing résumé full of big-match experience, Reid has already established herself as a young defensive player who knows how to compete when the stakes are high. For a 2031 still early in her journey, that's a pretty strong foundation — and she's definitely worth the watch.
