Loaded Rosters: These High School Teams Are Stacked With Talent

Mother McAuley | Chicago, Illinois

Mother McAuley is off to a perfect 8-0 start, and the Mighty Macs have no shortage of talent on the roster. Seven VBAdrenaline-featured players are helping lead the way, including Peyton Heatherly, Katelyn Beirne, Keira McQuillan, Alyson Cahill, Abby Faber, Chyla Jukes and Ava Calle. The group is packed with experience and future college talent. Heatherly, a 2027 setter/opposite committed to Coastal Carolina, brings a loaded résumé that includes MaxPreps and PrepVolleyball All-American honors, a 2023 Illinois 4A state championship and multiple high-level national and regional selections. The 2028 class adds plenty of firepower, with Beirne headed to Ball State, McQuillan committed to UConn and Cahill committed to Troy. Faber, a 2027 OPP/MB committed to Molloy, gives the lineup even more size at 6-foot-3, while 2029 middle/outside hitter Jukes adds another rising name with a 91.8 PPV. Defensively, Calle has been a standout throughout her club and high school career, earning AVCA Phenom, JVA All-National Team and Club All-American recognition before committing to Youngstown State. The libero has also collected multiple major tournament titles, including the 2026 MEQ and WCNQ, earning MEQ MVP honors along the way. And the Mighty Macs are already showing what that talent can do this season. McQuillan currently leads the team with 34 kills through 16 sets, while Cahill has been dominant at the net with 39 blocks, currently ranking No. 1 in Illinois in that category. With seven featured players sharing the same roster and an undefeated start already on the books, Mother McAuley is certainly living up to the Loaded Rosters name.

Plant High School | Tampa, Florida

Plant High School is off to a 3-1 start, and the Panthers have plenty of familiar VBAdrenaline names helping lead the way. The roster features five featured players in Ella Horvick, Ella Mossbacher, Sophia Dostic, Hannah Beal and Presley Johnson, giving Plant a mix of established veterans and rising talent across the court. The Panthers' lineup includes two committed 2027 standouts in Horvick and Dostic. Horvick, a libero/DS committed to Duke, has built an impressive résumé that includes a Florida state championship, Team Florida selection, multiple PrepVolleyball Supernova honors and UA NEXT experience. Dostic, a 6-foot-2 setter committed to LSU, has also collected major club and high school honors, including AAU All-American recognition, Florida All-Star and All-American honors and a 2023 state championship. The 2028 class brings another big offensive presence in Mossbacher, a 6-foot-1 OH/OPP committed to OTVA, who was Plant's leading scorer in 2025 and helped the Panthers reach the Florida 7A state championship match. Meanwhile, 2029s Beal and Johnson add even more talent to the roster. Beal, a 6-foot OH/OPP, is already leading the team in both kills per set and hitting percentage, while Johnson brings a strong defensive presence after earning First Team All-County recognition in Polk County and FACA Player of the Year honors. It's still early, but Plant is already showing why this roster deserves attention. Beal is setting the pace offensively, Horvick is leading the Panthers in digs per set, and the team is 3-1 through its first four matches. With five VBAdrenaline-featured players sharing the same court, Plant is another roster loaded with talent.

Hebron Christian Academy | Dacula, Georgia

Hebron Christian Academy has been nearly unstoppable to start the season, sitting at 21-1 with five VBAdrenaline-featured players helping drive the success. Ashley Troxell, KK Prentice, Addison Griffin, Jade Howard and Elle Walker give the Lions a loaded mix of experience, offensive firepower and defensive presence. Troxell, a 2027 outside hitter committed to Arkansas, and Howard, a 2027 MB/OH committed to Virginia, are currently tied for the team lead at 3.7 kills per set. Howard has also been a force at the net, leading Hebron with 48 blocks, adding to a résumé that includes GHSA Region 3 Player of the Year, First Team All-State, First Team All-Region and First Team All-County honors. Prentice, a 2028 libero/DS, has been setting the tone defensively and currently leads the team in digs per set, while Griffin, a 2027 OH/OPP, is making an impact from the service line with a team-high 19 aces. The group also includes one of the Lions' rising young players in Walker, a 2029 setter/opposite who earned 2026 AVCA Phenom Watch List recognition after being named an Under Armour NEXT Middle School MVP. She also earned All-Region honors as a freshman and has continued to collect national-level club recognition. With five featured players contributing in different ways and a 21-1 record to show for it, Hebron Christian is proving to be one of the season's most Loaded Rosters.

Westfield High School | Westfield, Indiana

Westfield High School is off to a 10-1 start, with six VBAdrenaline-featured players helping make the Rocks one of Indiana’s teams to watch. Brooke Neale, Kendyl Strack, Eva Clevenger, Emily Blevins, Carsyn Comer and Jordyn Blair bring a mix of nationally recognized club experience, high school success and future college talent to the roster. Defensively, Strack is setting the tone, leading Westfield with 4.2 digs per set and 135 total digs, while also pacing the team with 19 aces. The 2027 libero/DS and team captain has earned AVCA Phenom and JVA Watch List recognition and is committed to Bowling Green State. Neale, a 2028 libero/DS committed to South Carolina, adds another elite defensive presence after starting on varsity as a freshman and helping Westfield to a 26-2 season, 4A sectional and regional championships and a No. 1 ranking in Indiana in 2026. At the net, Comer is leading the team with 27 blocks, bringing 6-foot-3 size and a 123 approach touch to a résumé that includes 2024 NTDP U17 and JVA All-National Team recognition. Blair, another 2028 middle at 6-foot-4, adds even more size and national-level experience with U17 NTDP, Triple Crown NTDP and a UA NEXT High School Camp invite. Offensively, Blevins has already recorded 203 assists this season, while 2028 OH/DS Clevenger adds another versatile piece to the lineup. With six featured players contributing across the court and Westfield sitting at 10-1, the Rocks have plenty of reasons to be considered one of this season's Loaded Rosters.

Marian High School | Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

Marian High School is off to a 10-2 start, with four VBAdrenaline-featured players helping fuel the Mustangs. Ashlyn Pelon, Quinn Nelson, Sophia Smith and London Gibson give Marian a strong mix of defensive ability, offensive firepower and nationally recognized experience. Nelson, a 2028 OH/DS committed to Virginia Tech, is leading the Mustangs offensively with 3.7 kills per set, while Pelon is anchoring the back row with a team-best 4.2 digs per set. The 2028 libero/DS is committed to Maryland and has built one of the deeper résumés in her class, earning JVA All-National Team, MaxPreps All-American and AVCA Phenom recognition, along with multiple NTDP selections. The Mustangs also have plenty of experience coming from their older players. Smith, a 2027 OPP/OH committed to Boston College, is a 6-foot-2 standout who has collected Michigan All-Region and All-League honors, multiple All-Tournament selections and a No. 76 spot in PrepVolleyball's Top 150. Gibson, a 2028 middle committed to Central Michigan, adds another physical presence at 6-foot with All-Region, All-League and AVCA Phenom recognition. With Nelson leading the attack, Pelon setting the pace defensively and two more future college players rounding out the lineup, Marian's 10-2 start is another example of why this roster belongs in Loaded Rosters.

Torrey Pines High School | San Diego, California

Torrey Pines is bringing together one of the deepest collections of VBAdrenaline-featured talent in the country, with Isabella Brown, Lilia Decker, Parker Herrin, Shayla Barry, Stella Delgadillo, Lila Green, Kennedy Wilkinson and Dylan Kupiec all sharing the same roster. The Falcons entered the season as the defending CIF San Diego Section Open Division champions, and their current roster includes Division I commits at nearly every position. The group includes plenty of high-level experience, with Decker committed to Loyola Chicago, Herrin committed to Hawaii, Barry headed to Rhode Island and Delgadillo committed to Northwestern. Green, a 2027 libero committed to Kansas, was the 2025 CIF San Diego Libero of the Year and has also earned JVA Watch List and PrepVolleyball recognition. Wilkinson adds another 2028 defensive option with a commitment to Colorado, while Kupiec, a 6-foot-3 2028 MB/OPP committed to Tennessee, brings USNTDP experience and a 2026 Nationals All-Tournament Team selection. The roster also has some serious young talent. Brown, a 2029 OH/OPP, gives Torrey Pines another rising piece alongside the collection of college-bound upperclassmen. Through the opening stretch, the Falcons are 1-1, with a 3-0 win over Mira Costa followed by a tight 3-2 loss to Sierra Canyon. With eight VBAdrenaline-featured players, a defending section championship and college commitments spread across the roster, Torrey Pines is about as loaded as it gets.
