Her combination of size, athleticism, competitive experience and continued development makes her an intriguing 2029 middle to keep on the radar.
Presley Johnson | 2029 LIB/DS | OTVA Tampa
Presley Johnson is one of my favorite young liberos to watch, and her film makes it easy to understand why. The 2029 OTVA Tampa standout is scrappy, quick and instinctive, with the kind of defensive mentality that makes her look like a true libero every time she steps on the court. Johnson has already earned significant recognition at the high school level, including First Team All-County in Polk County and FACA Player of the Year at Plant High School. Those honors reflect the impact she's already making. Her college exposure is growing as well, with camps at Florida, Kentucky, Miami and other high-level programs giving her opportunities to train in different environments and continue developing her defensive game. At 5'7", Johnson's game is built around the qualities that make a libero so valuable: quick reactions, relentless pursuit and the willingness to keep a rally alive. She doesn't need to be the biggest player on the court to make her presence felt. She finds the ball, gets underneath it and keeps playing. With an 87.7 PPV, Johnson is firmly on our radar, but honestly, the film is what makes her especially fun to watch. She's the type of young libero who makes you want to keep clicking through the reel just to see what she digs next.
Zoe Anderson | 2028 LIB/DS | Club One Arizona
Zoe Anderson is the kind of libero whose résumé immediately catches your attention. The 2028 Club One Arizona standout has already established herself as a highly accomplished defensive player, combining strong club experience, high school success and impressive consistency in the back row. Anderson earned Second Team All-Region honors in Arizona's 5A East Sky region and posted a remarkable 95.9% serve ratio across 316 serves with 32 aces, showing that her impact extends well beyond her defensive responsibilities. Her club experience includes helping AZ Sky finish 35th nationally out of more than 4,500 14U teams, while she also competed with the AZHP All-Star 13U Team, which earned a silver medal at Nationals. She has continued that development with Club One's 15 Platinum team. Anderson has also taken advantage of significant college exposure, attending camps at Missouri, Duke, UC Irvine and several other high-level programs. Those experiences have given her opportunities to train in different collegiate environments while continuing to sharpen her game. Off the court, Anderson brings an equally impressive academic profile. She maintains a 4.8 weighted GPA and 4.0 unweighted GPA while also competing in beach volleyball. With an 85.1 PPV, Anderson is firmly on our radar as a 2028 defensive prospect. Her film gives you a chance to see the serve, ball control and defensive consistency that have helped make her such an intriguing libero to follow.
Savannah Watts | 2028 OH/DS | OTVA
Savannah Watts is a player whose film immediately shows the value of being able to contribute in multiple areas. The 2028 OTVA outside hitter/DS has already put together an impressive résumé, combining high-level offensive production with the versatility to play all six rotations. Watts earned USAV 15s National All-Tournament Team recognition after competing on the national stage, while also being named Florida All-State. Her high school production has been especially notable: she recorded 450 kills as a freshman, leading Florida's 5A class in kills, before continuing to lead her club team offensively during the 15s season. She has also proven herself in college-level environments, earning UF Camp MVP honors and attending camps at Kentucky, Florida, SMU and several other high-level programs. That experience has given Watts an opportunity to test her game against strong competition while continuing to develop her all-around skill set. At 5'9", Watts brings a 118" approach touch and the ability to contribute as both an attacker and back-row player. Her production is particularly impressive considering the responsibilities she's already taken on at such a young age. With an 86.4 PPV, Watts is firmly on our radar as a 2028 prospect. But the film is where her versatility really comes through — she's an outside who can produce offensively while still giving her team value in the back row.
