At 5'9", Adams has the physical foundation and positional flexibility to continue growing into her role as she gains more experience. Ellie Friessen
2029 | MB/OPP/S/OH | Midwest Elite | PPV: 86.2
Ellie Friessen is the definition of a versatile 2029 prospect. The 6'1" Midwest Elite standout has the ability to contribute from virtually anywhere on the court, giving her a unique level of flexibility that makes her an intriguing player to follow as she continues to develop. Friessen has already proven she can perform on big stages, helping her team to an AAU 15 Club National Championship while earning All-American MVP honors. She also helped her high school team reach the IGHSAU State Championship match, where she was named to the All-Tournament Team. Her versatility is what really separates her. Friessen can play middle, opposite, setter, or outside hitter, and she has shown the ability to adjust her game depending on what her team needs. She has also continued gaining exposure through camps at South Dakota and North Dakota, giving her additional opportunities to develop against strong competition. At 6'1" with an 86.2 PPV, Friessen is a player we see as having plenty of room to continue rising. The ability to play nearly anywhere is already valuable — and as she continues to refine where she is most effective, her ceiling becomes even more interesting.
Hay’Ven Hogg
2030 | OH/DS | TAV | PPV: 80.0
Hay’Ven Hogg is one of the younger players we're keeping on the Watch List as we continue to learn more about her game and development. The 2030 TAV prospect is still early in her journey, which makes tracking her progression over the next few seasons particularly important. At 5'7", Hogg brings a different profile to the OH/DS position, and at this stage, we're more interested in following the trajectory of her game than making an early projection. We want to continue watching film as she matures, gains experience, and adds new pieces to her game. With an 80.0 PPV, Hogg lands firmly in our Watch List range. For a 2030 player, there is plenty of time for that evaluation to evolve — and that's exactly why we're keeping her on the radar.
Avilene Diaz
2031 | Libero/DS | SC Rockstar | PPV: 87.1
Avilene Diaz is already building a résumé that is hard to overlook for a 2031 prospect. The SC Rockstar libero/DS has consistently competed in strong environments across both indoor and beach volleyball, giving her valuable experience at an early stage of her development. Diaz has collected several notable finishes, including a 5th-place finish in the 2026 AAU National Championships Premier Division, a 2nd-place finish at the 2026 Coastal Combine, and a 3rd-place finish at the 2026 SLC Showdown. She has also competed at the AAU Beach Junior Nationals in consecutive years, finishing third in 2024 and fifth in 2025. Her development has also included exposure to some of the country's top college environments, with camps at USC, UCLA, UCSB, and more. She is also a UA NEXT attendee, continuing to put herself in settings where she can challenge her game against strong competition. We actually highlighted Diaz earlier this summer in our July 22, 2026 VBAdrenaline feature, “10 Must-Know Liberos,” and she's a player we continue to feel deserves attention. With an 87.1 PPV and several years of development still ahead of her, Diaz is already establishing herself as an intriguing young defensive prospect. Be sure to check out her highlight reel on the site for a closer look at her game.
Lexi Davidson
2030 | S/DS | VCNebraska | PPV: Watchlist
Lexi Davidson is a 2030 S/DS from VCNebraska who brings a steady, versatile foundation to her game. Still early in her development, Davidson has already taken on leadership responsibilities as a team captain while maintaining a strong academic résumé. She has earned the President's Academic Excellence Award and been recognized on the Honor Roll, showing the kind of consistency and commitment that carries beyond the court. Davidson has also continued gaining experience through college camps, including stops at Creighton and Nebraska Wesleyan. With her Watch List-level PPV, Davidson is a player we're interested in following as she continues to develop. At this stage of the 2030 class, there is plenty of time for her game to grow, and her versatility between setter and defensive specialist gives her an interesting foundation to build from.
Sophia Morris
2029 | S/DS | Dynasty | PPV: 85.9
Sophia Morris has already built a strong competitive résumé as a 2029 setter, with championship-level experience and the versatility to contribute beyond the setting position. The Dynasty standout has been trusted to run a 5-1 offense, giving her valuable experience directing an offense and managing the court. Morris helped her team to a 2026 USAV GJNC 3rd-place finish in Open, earning 14U All-Tournament Team honors along the way. She was also part of the 2026 Open Sunshine Qualifier Championship and 2026 Windy City Qualifier Championship teams, after helping win the 2025 Open ShowMe Qualifier. Her high school résumé includes a 5A Kansas State Championship runner-up finish with Blue Valley Southwest, adding another level of high-pressure competition to her background. She has also continued to seek out college-level training, attending camps at Baylor, Alabama, NC State, and more. Her work running a 5-1, championship experience, and continued exposure to college environments make her a 2029 setter we're interested in continuing to track.
Dayah Tomlinson
2030 | OH/OPP | Skyline Juniors | Watch List
Dayah Tomlinson is a 2030 six-rotation outside hitter from Skyline Juniors who we're adding to the Watch List while we continue to get a better look at her game. At 5'9", Tomlinson brings versatility to the outside position and the ability to contribute in all six rotations. For now, we're holding off on assigning a PPV as we gather more information and spend more time watching film. The goal with younger players is to let the evaluation develop alongside the athlete, and Tomlinson is one we're looking forward to watching more closely as she continues to build her game.
Sophie Becker
2032 | Libero/DS/OH | TAV | Watch List
Sophie Becker is one of the young Texas players we're especially excited to have on the radar. The 5'7" TAV standout is a very good young player who already shows the kind of versatility and natural ability that makes her worth following this early in her career. Becker can contribute as a libero/DS or outside hitter, giving her multiple ways to impact a match while she continues to develop. Her overall game and feel for the court are advanced enough for us to confidently put her in our Watch List and Young Guns Club. We don't assign PPV scores to the 2032 class yet because we believe this stage should be about development, not rankings. There is simply too much growth ahead for an early number to tell the full story. What we can say now is that Becker is very much on our radar. We'll be following her progression, promoting her along the way, and looking forward to seeing how much she can develop over the next few seasons.
Camila Murillo
2030 | MB/S | Miami Volleyball Academy | Watch List
Camila Murillo is a 5'8" 2030 MB/S from Miami Volleyball Academy who caught our attention as a young, athletic player with some interesting versatility. She has already shown that she can contribute in different areas of the court, giving her a foundation to continue building on as she gets older. Murillo was nominated for All-Around Club and Most Improved honors and also received a Coaches Award, recognition that speaks to the progress and overall contribution she has made within her club environment. At this stage, we're keeping Murillo on our Watch List and giving her room to develop. There are still plenty of pieces of her game to refine, but her athleticism and versatility make her someone we're interested in checking back in on as she continues through the 2030 class.
Peyton Tuff
2030 | OPP/S | Elevation Volleyball Club | PPV: 90.8
There are 2030s, and then there are 2030s who already look like they belong in a much older age group. Peyton Tuff falls firmly into the second category. The 5'10" OPP/S from Elevation Volleyball Club brings an advanced combination of size, athleticism, and versatility for her class. With a 120" approach touch, Tuff already has a physical profile that immediately catches your attention, but it's her ability to contribute as both an opposite and setter that makes her particularly intriguing. Her 2026 résumé is loaded with high-level finishes. Tuff was part of teams that won USAV All-Star Championships U15 National Gold, the Players Championship, Big South, and the OVR Bid, while also finishing fifth at USAV Nationals in 14 Open and third at the Nike Classic. That's a lot of winning for a player this young. With a 90.8 PPV, Tuff is firmly in the territory of players we consider high-level prospects. For a 2030, the combination of her physical tools, versatility, and championship experience makes her one of the more intriguing young players we've added to the radar. This is a 2030 worth watching.
Zane Ehler
2029 | S/OPP | Iowa United | PPV: 93.1
A 2029 who already looks like a serious recruiting problem? Zane Ehler is exactly the kind of player who deserves a little extra attention. The 6'1" Iowa United setter/opposite brings a combination of size and versatility that immediately stands out. Ehler has already been selected for the 2026 NTDP Summer Training Series and UA NEXT, while also earning 2025 Iowa All-District 3A recognition at Tipton Community Schools. Her summer has been just as busy on the recruiting side, with camp stops at Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Baylor, and more, giving college programs plenty of opportunities to see her up close. That continued exposure, paired with her ability to contribute at both setter and opposite, makes her an especially interesting prospect in the 2029 class. And the 93.1 PPV backs it up. That's firmly within the high-level range, and Ehler's combination of physical presence, versatility, and national-level exposure gives us plenty of reason to keep watching. This is a 2029 we're expecting to hear a lot more about.
Olivia Romaniello
2029 | Libero/DS | Nova Volleyball Club | PPV: Watch List
Olivia Romaniello is a 2029 libero/DS from Nova Volleyball Club who we're adding to the Watch List as we continue getting to know her game. Her numbers show a player who is already contributing consistently on the defensive side, particularly at the club level. Romaniello recorded a 3.7 digs-per-set average with 44 assists and 83 aces in club play, along with a 93% serving percentage. At Stamford High School, she posted 97 digs, 2.7 digs per set, and 21 aces. She's also been putting herself in front of college programs, with camp stops at Marist and Sacred Heart. We always love seeing players from Connecticut come across our radar, and Romaniello has given us a reason to take a closer look at Nova Volleyball Club as well. We're looking forward to learning more about both Romaniello and the program around her as we continue following her development. Be sure to check out Olivia's highlight reel on the site for a look at her game.
Madison Monday
2031 | Libero/DS | OTVA | Watch List
Madison Monday is a 5'5" 2031 libero/DS from OTVA who we're adding to the Watch List as we continue learning more about her game. Monday is also the younger sister of Molly Monday, giving us another reason to keep an eye on the next generation of the Monday family. At this stage, we're still gathering information and want to give Madison time to establish her own résumé and identity on the court. For now, she's firmly on our Watch List, and we'll be following her development as she moves through the 2031 class.
Tesa Johnson
2029 | Libero/DS | OTVA Tampa | PPV: Watch List
Tesa Johnson is a 5'6" 2029 libero/DS from OTVA Tampa who we're adding to the Watch List as we continue following her development. Johnson has already taken the opportunity to compete in college training environments, with camp experience at Florida and the University of Tampa. Those opportunities give her valuable exposure as she continues to build her game and gain experience against different levels of competition. For now, Johnson sits in our Watch List range, but she's a player we're interested in keeping an eye on as her résumé continues to take shape.
Karli Knis
OH/DS | Absolute Volleyball Academy | PPV: Watch List
Karli Knis is an OH/DS from Absolute Volleyball Academy who caught our attention with a strong combination of athleticism and versatility. At 5'6", Knis has recorded both a 117" approach touch and 117" block touch, numbers that immediately stand out for her size. She has also earned Volleyball MVP recognition, showing that her impact goes beyond the physical measurements. As an OH/DS, Knis brings value in multiple areas of the game and gives her team flexibility on the court. Knis currently sits on our Watch List, and we're interested in following how her game continues to develop. Her athletic profile and ability to contribute from both sides of the ball give us plenty of reason to keep checking back in.
Ava Lane
2028 | Setter | Apex Volleyball Club | PPV: 88.9
Kansas saw the setter before everyone else. Ava Lane's path to becoming a Division I setter is especially interesting because she has only been playing the position for a few years — and she has already developed into a player with the tools to play at a high level. The 5'10" Apex Volleyball Club standout has earned Under Armour NEXT Athlete recognition along with high school All-State and All-District honors at Strafford High School. But volleyball is far from the only sport where Lane has made an impact. As a freshman, she won a Missouri State Championship in the 400-meter, while also placing third in both the 100-meter and 200-meter. That athletic background shows up in her volleyball game. Lane brings natural movement, explosiveness, and the physical tools that give her plenty of room to continue developing as a setter. She spent the recruiting process visiting and camping with programs across the country before ultimately finding her fit with Kansas. For a player who is still relatively new to setting, an 88.9 PPV is a strong indicator of just how quickly Lane has taken to the position. Kansas didn't simply find an established setter — they found a player with a high ceiling who is still learning how good she can become.
Ragan Ward
2028 | MB/OH | Circle City | PPV: 84.4
Ragan Ward is a 6'1" 2028 MB/OH from Circle City who brings an intriguing combination of size, athleticism, and positional versatility. Her physical numbers immediately stand out, with a 116" block touch and 124" approach touch giving her plenty of tools to work with as she continues to develop. Ward has already proven she can perform on a national stage, earning All-Tournament Team honors at USAV Nationals. That kind of experience gives her a valuable foundation heading into the next phase of her recruiting journey. She has also been active on the college-camp circuit, with stops at Missouri, Ohio State, Western Kentucky, and more, continuing to put herself in front of college programs and gain experience in different training environments. With an 84.4 PPV, Ward is a player we're interested in continuing to track as she develops both as a middle and an outside hitter.
Taryn Ramlow
2031 | OH/OPP | Dynasty | PPV: 80.0 — Watch List
Taryn Ramlow is a 5'10" 2031 OH/OPP from Dynasty who has already shown herself to be a very solid young player. She recently earned MVP honors at the 2026 TC NIT, giving us an early look at her ability to perform when the competition is there. Ramlow also brings an impressive physical foundation for her class, with a 118" block touch and 115" approach touch. Her combination of size, athleticism, and versatility makes her an interesting player to follow as she continues to mature. With an 80.0 PPV, Ramlow lands on our Watch List. For a 2031, we're much more interested in tracking how her game develops than making an early projection. The TC NIT MVP performance is a strong starting point, and we'll be keeping an eye on what comes next.
Gabby Jones
2029 | Libero/DS/S | M2 Volleyball | PPV: 82.2
Gabby Jones is a versatile 5'7" 2029 libero/DS/setter from M2 Volleyball who has already built a strong collection of high school accolades. Jones earned Hall County All-Tournament Team and First Team All-Region recognition in 2024, followed by another First Team All-Region selection in 2025. Her ability to contribute across multiple positions adds another layer to her profile and gives her plenty of ways to impact a match. With an 82.2 PPV, Jones lands on our Watch List and is a player we're continuing to follow as she develops through the 2029 class.
