The Next Wave: Player Profiles ‘30 and ‘31, Week 12

While we don’t rank the Class of 2031 due to their early stage of development, there is no shortage of standout talent from these young athletes worth recognizing. We’re excited to highlight these prospects from the Classes of 2030 and 2031 and look forward to tracking their growth and sharing their journeys.  

Class of 2030

Taylor Freeland: Elite Red level setter- Premier Nebraska 14 Gold

Taylor Freeland is an Elite Red level setter who continues to stand out with her playmaking ability and composure at the position. She capped off last season with a trip to Nationals and has also attended camps at Nebraska and Creighton, adding to her early exposure to high-level college volleyball.

Peyton Tuff: Red level OPP/RS- Elevation VBC 15-1

Peyton Tuff enters high school coming off a USAV All-Star National Championship, adding a major accomplishment to her young career. She also earned a spot on Centerville High School’s varsity roster as an incoming freshman, a strong indication of her ability to compete at a high level.

Gabriella Skye Kirklen: Red level MB- A5 14-Helen 

Gabriella Skye Kirklen has built an impressive resume with major national accolades across multiple events. She was part of the 2026 USAV National Championship team and has also earned All-American honors at both Triple Crown and AAU Nationals in 2025.

Alison Tam: Orange level libero/DS- Sunshine 16 LA

Alison Tam has been a key part of back-to-back GJNC championship teams in 2025 and 2026. She has also earned an invitation to UA Next Camp and competes in beach volleyball, adding another dimension to her game and overall volleyball experience.

Dina Fa’alogo: Orange level setter- Coast 15-1 Said

Dina Fa’alogo has continued to build her profile through several notable development opportunities, including JVPA training and an invitation to UA Next Camp. She has also been invited to multiple Prep Dig camps, giving her the chance to compete and train in a variety of high-level settings. 

Berkley Addison: Orange level libero/DS- VCNebraska 14 Elite

Berkley Addison put together a successful season while continuing to make an impact as a defensive specialist. She has also attended TCU’s camp, giving her an early look at the college game and another opportunity to develop her skills.

Charlotte Muich: Orange level libero/DS- Shockwave 15-Black

Charlotte Muich capped off a strong club season with a trip to AAU Nationals while continuing to make strides as a defensive presence. She has attended UA Next Camp and camps at Oklahoma, along with exposure events featuring multiple college coaches.

Shelby Tynes: Green level OPP/RS- Austin Performance 14 Adidas

Shelby Tynes has continued to make her mark across both indoor and beach volleyball, with beach playing being a major part of her development. She also finished third at the invite-only Triple Crown event this summer and has attended college camps at Texas A&M and Rice.

Class of 2031

Blue Spears: setter- Oklahoma Peak 13 National

Blue Spears has shown plenty of versatility and early promise while continuing to develop her game against strong competition. She has attended UA Next Camp along with college camps at Creighton, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Texas, and other programs, giving her a wide range of high-level training opportunities.

Marleigh Hamlett: OH- Metro VBC 13 Travel

Marleigh Hamlett has already taken on a leadership role as a team captain while continuing to develop her game at a young age. She has attended UA Next Camp and college opportunities at Howard and UNC, along with the Metro D1 Showcase, where she trained in front of coaches from programs including Michigan State, Virginia, Duke, and others.

Deven Tilley: OPP/RS- WAVE 

At 5'11, Deven Tilley brings an intriguing combination of size and versatility to her game. She was selected for the JVPA Fall Training Team and has also found success in beach volleyball, adding another avenue for her continued development.

Taryn Ramlow: OH- Dynasty 13-1

Taryn Ramlow put together an impressive 2026 campaign, helping lead her team to an NIT championship while earning 13U MVP honors. She has also begun gaining exposure to the college game through camps at Tennessee, Minnesota, and Kansas State.

Madison Monday: libero/DS- OTVA 14 Jody 

Madison Monday has continued to expand her volleyball experience across both indoor and beach competition. She attended the University of Tampa Volleyball Camp and helped secure a 2026 SSOVA Championship in beach volleyball, adding to her development as a young defensive specialist. 

Payce Adams: OH- Tri-State Elite 14-1

Payce Adams capped off her season with a trip to Nationals while continuing to put in plenty of work outside of team practices. That extra work has helped her continue building her game and developing as a young outside hitter.

Lexi Rodriguez: libero/DS- STVA 14-1 

Lexi Rodriguez has already begun gaining exposure to the college game through opportunities at the University of Texas and UA Next Camp. She continues to build her foundation as a defensive specialist with plenty of room to grow.
