Create a Player ProfileInside the Film Room: 2028 Setters

As I sat down in the film room, I came across four setters from the 2028 class that I thoroughly enjoyed watching. While none are finished products, each possesses qualities that college programs look for in a player capable of leading an offense. They all show a strong foundation as decision-makers, competitors, and leaders within their teams. Three of these setters are new evaluations making their debut with their initial PPV, and each is a name worth tracking as their development continues. Here are the four setters I watched in this edition of In the Film Room.
Tegan Loechler, Milwaukee Sting - Updated PPV 275, Gold Level
Diamond level size for the setting position with the versatility to play either setter or opposite. Presents a big block at the net, an elite trait for her position. Shows a clean release with good wrist strength and touch. Displays a surprisingly strong connection with her middles, which can often be a challenge for taller setters, making it especially impressive. Makes good decisions and shows all the setting traits college coaches look for. As she continues to develop and add strength, Power 4 programs are likely to be lined up for her services.
Molly Monday, Tribe - Initial PPV 255, Silver Level
I think she is the best player, of any position, I’ve seen in Florida for this class. An advanced setter with great size and mobility who truly looks like the total package. She runs a quality tempo and consistently connects with her middles, showing a mature understanding of when to jump set and when to stay grounded. Her back set is especially deceptive and creates consistent scoring opportunities for her offense. A Silver Level prospect who looks destined to be a major addition for a very lucky Power 4 program.
Addison Waldorf, Iowa Premier - Initial PPV 195, Red Level
A setter I really like in this class. Has good size at the position and plays with a physical presence at the net, especially as a blocker, a huge plus for the setting position. Very aggressive offensively and looks to score when given the opportunity. Shows quick wrists and a strong connection with her hitters. Competes hard on every play. My favorite player from Iowa in this class, Red Level with potential for even more, she is a player who does a lot of things that college coaches really look for.
Eden Wilson, Rockwood Thunder - Initial PPV 168, Elite Orange Level
Good size and athleticism for the setting position and an Elite Orange Level athlete. Shows strong wrists and the ability to flip the ball out to the pins. Does a good job elevating her hitters and putting them in positions to be successful. Tempo will continue to improve as she matures and develops. Has a strong ability to score on second contact and can be a threat when left unattended.
