Peterson and Livings Push for the TOP

Peterson and Livings Push for the TOP

TAV Duo Pushing for the TOP

Their squad has been dominant in the 16 Open Division since Triple Crown and they are a big reason why. Now as June 15th approaches Sophee Peterson and Nyla Livings find their PPV scores right at or near the top of their positions group with all kinds of attention being pointed in their direction, but when you play for the nation’s most recognizable club that is nothing new.

Sophee Peterson took over the top PPV spot at the Setters position for the first time in her career this week and has had the steady and dominant season we would relate to what Genevieve Harris performed with the 2026 group a year ago.

-Winner

-Competitor

-Consistently most accurate setter in the class

-She controls and manages a team of talented athletes very well (not all setters can do that) also something a setter looking to go to a Top 10 program should be ready and able to control.

-Passes the ball extremely well and is not afraid to take a chance offensively.

Nyla Livings looks the part of stand out middle as soon as you see her in the gym. She has been healthy and assertive and really put together some back to back dominant performances the past 1/3 of the qualifiers season. All of 6’4” she comes in as the 2nd highest PPV of a top-heavy class of middle blocker talent group and would look like 1 of maybe 3 that could be a plug and play early on with her defensive game.

-Power

-Strength

-Length

-Height at which she plays (10’6 ish guessing)

-Effective Terminating Kill Opportunities

The impressive thing about the duo (and the rest of the TAV squad) is how they have handled the pressure of being talented prospects and combining that with the how well they have all played together as a team. When having a chance to watch each of these two on film I fwd to the championship round matches and they do not disappoint. Both are made for big matches they hit and their games and speed at which they play hit another gear, even on film. You don’t see that with every prospect. To me it’s the sign of a competitor and confidence, both are charachteristics highly sought after by top programs in the NCAA.

So Peterson and Livings continue to push their squad to the top, their games are ascending with them and it’s fun to watch.
