Create a Player ProfileThe Prospect Report: Red Rock Stars. The Roster We Will Be

Heading to Vegas for Red Rock, it's a great chance to see many of the Western US stars for the first time since NIT, and a great chance to see the progress they have made.
Here is the first squad that notes will definitely be taken on.
Taylor Freeland- Opp SCVC Gold
Freeland is the least talked about star at a position of impact makers waiting to burst onto the college scene in two years. You know that we ALWAYS give the athlete from the smaller clubs a shot, and the name on the front of the jersey won't dictate the PPV score, so this is our chance to watch long and hard and see if Freeland deserves that #1 overall OPP spot in the class.
Lana Frelix- OPP SG ELITE Silver
Another solid player that we are excited to watch in great detail this weekend. Silver level right now, but yet not talked about a ton on the national scene. Our first shot at watching Frelix in extended action.
Nlonna Okwura- Middle Houston Jrs Silver
Okwura is a different type of middle than any other in this class and is more physical than anyone else. She will have a spot in someone's lineup and will be an exact fit. Evaluating her is unique because she plays the position differently than almost anyone else in the class, but make no doubt, she plays it well.
Izzie Penrose and Amari Frazier AZ Storm
Frazier was our MVP of the NIT and proved us wrong (WHICH WE LOVE!!!). Now we are hoping she comes out just as dominant, confident, and just as athletic in Vegas again!
Penrose is a solid Libero, but has been slightly overshadowed by a giant group of Midwest 'bros getting much of the attention early this season. Izzie will be just fine regardless and is the best of the West, but since we have seen more of the liberos in the Midwest, we need to give Izzie some equal airtime, so we want her to play well.
Sade Bello OH Houston Juniors
Bello might have the best overall vertical in the class, and that is saying A LOT, but she does give up some size to other OH's. She has always performed, and she continues to impress college coaches.
WAVE Mates:
Summer Tukua OH and Chloe Taylor Setter
Tukua is currently an Elite Red prospect level and Taylor Elite Orange. This is a very deep class at the Setter position, and we still consider Taylor as the best in the West in 2028. Part of the reason you come to big qualifiers is to see how top prospects compete when they match up vs. other top prospects so Sunday and Monday could be quite a bit of fun. I've really enjoyed what I was able to see of this combo in KC.
Saylor Halvorsen- OH SG Elite Elite Red
We talked about Saylor during the prep season, but I am very interested to watch her progress now as she translates into her club team. Is she as dominant, and can she still take over a match the same way and be that same multi-tool player? She is on the verge of moving to the next level and is gathering a lot of college interest.
Bryn Walcott- OH Sudden Impact Elite Red
Walcott is another one of those "lesser known" players from a national standpoint that we tend to pull for because she has had a Player Profile with us for quite a while, so we have followed her closely. She is a power-hitting attacker and is definitely as good as they come in the upper Northwest, but we want to see if she has that ability to be a national prospect and get looks from D1s outside of the region, so again, a qualifier like this puts her against some of the best in the nation and we can see how far Walcott's game has come since the Fall.
Sasha Slaughter and Caroline Delaney from Absolute
Slaughter has continued to be a rising name amongst the middles in this class and has seemed to catch quite a bit of recruiting attention, so it will be fun watching her in person once again to see how her performance stacks up live, and another who you hope to see a couple of matchups vs. other top middles during the weekend.
Delaney is an OH currently at the Red Prospect level and is another one of the "recruiting bunches" we talked about a couple of months ago. This will be my first time watching the Cali OH up close.
More tomorrow when we throw in some of the talented 2029s in a smaller, but fierce 15s Open from Vegas.
