America's 200: Moving In To the Top 20

America's 200: Moving In To the Top 20

America’s Top 200 List  #11-#20

The long journey full of stars and future stars finally makes it's way into the Top 20.  Names that are literally two months from walking on to campuses to start their journey to potentially become some of the biggest names in college volleyball.  Names that you have probably heard if you have followed any recruiting site or volleyball website or social media site the past couple of years.  These are the names that are expected to be NEXT.  Included with them is on very bright shiny star that will be one of the most talked about names in this recruiting class, but potentially one of the most talked about liberos in American Volleyball's history, she can be that good.  So here are #11-#20 of the 2025 edition of America's 200

#11 Ireland Real - Class of 2027 Outside - Club: WAVE - Commit: Texas

Real was our highest US prospect for nearly the entire recruiting campaign. 6’4”ish, six-rotation and can attack from anywhere. She was the #1 target of Stanford, Wisconsin and Texas to name just a few. She is an ultimate competitor, but plays the game with extreme energy and is a team first player which will fit perfectly into the Texas culture. Real fits into the new mold of international OH tall and long, but can play all the way around and will fit into the gym with Vander Wal and Anderson ahead of her. She brings so many positives to the Texas program on and off the court.

#12 Kendall Omoruyi - Class of 2027 Middle - Club: TBD - Commit: Nebraska

There is no question in Kendall’s ability or athleticism. When she is ON she is dominant. She was an All-Everything for AZ Storm during her club days. She transferred to California this year to play high school ball for Sierra Canyon and has a very positive season for them. Her ceiling is unlimited and the fit with DBK at Nebraska is the perfect culture for her to succeed. She has skills some college coaches just haven’t seen before in a prep middle and can dominate international play at times. The AZ Storm family has been a great setting for her growth and development. It will be interesting to see how Omoruyi continues to go from here. Sky is the limit for this young lady no doubt she can do just about anything on the court!

#13 Halle Thompson - Class of 2026 Outside - Club: Houston Skyline- Commit: Wisconsin

Thompson one of the two outsides in the A+ ’26 Class for Wisconsin has been a name club followers have known for a few years now. She has the personality and ups to be a media star in Madison right away. A Texas high school star and standout on the USA VB stage and the club levels Thompson’s high school career has been documented and decorated. She does not get cheated when she swings and she is violent when she takes off. She comes in with another one of the 10 best in this list at OH so the Badgers should be in GREAT SHAPE at the pin for a few years. Halle said she chose the Badgers because she wanted to be coached hard by Coach Sheffield and trained for the Olympics she will have that shot in a competitive gym. She helped lead her her Skyline squad to the Open Natty on their final attempt last July in their final tourney together and will be featured in the UA All-American Match in January.

#14 Taylor Harrington - Class of 2027 Middle - Club: Paramount - Commit: Penn State

Harrington has shot up the national team rankings and the class of ’27 charts as well. She has developed physically quite a bit in the last year. She plays as another one of the long and lean middles that can elevate, but are athletic and agile so she moves exceptionally well. She can attack from several different positions on the court and her agility allows her to move on the block. Her and future PSU teammate Kendall Northern play in similar ways. Harrington’s stock will continue to rise as she develops more strength and verticality to her game. She is another who has National Team experience.

#15 Kyla Williams - Class of 2027 Middle - Club: AVC Cleveland - Commit: Pitt

Williams is a combination of sheer strength and athleticism. The strongest middle in the ’27 class and maybe this four-year group, the Cleveland area prospect also has one of the most intense work ethics (and that is not just an overused expression in this case it is true). She plays with an intensity that fits her region she grew up in. She has slowly climbed up the rankings of both the USA VB and national rankings and the Pitt Fit is perfect. She could honestly end up having the most productive college career of any on this list. She has the strength and build to hold up to the grind of the college game.

#16 Cala Haffner - Class of 2028 Libero - Club: Pineapple Elite - Commit: UC

The only ’28 in this group and the highest rated libero in our entire list. This is a potential “GOAT” candidate and the recruitment around her this Spring/Summer will be intense. I’m not sure how to break down great libero, from GREAT libero without showing you in person, but when you watch Haffner or talk with someone who has you see it. When you interview her you hear it and you sense the next level goals and confidence. When you talk with peers about her you also hear the “street cred” she receives from them and when you watch at Nebraska’ Dream Team Camp and the best attackers in the US take as many shots as they possibly can at her whenever they had the shot, just to see if they could beat her…..you know what they think of her. She is that good.

#17 Jayden Robinson - Class of 2026 Outside - Club Houston Skyline - Commit: Nebraska

Robinson has quite a bit going for her as she heads to Nebraska. One of the classes highest approach touches which has served her well thus far in her club and USA VB career. Also, her ability to play either pin won’t hurt as she takes the step to the next level, though you would expect her to pick a position it is never a bad thing to have that flexibility especially in a DBK program. Robinson is like nearly all of her peers in this Top 20 list, in that she has earned every award throughout her prep career and been a lifer in the NTDP program. She was also part of the loaded Houston Skyline team that finally got over the hump and took home the Open Natty last July at Nationals. She is headed to a program with great depth and talent, but she was offered a spot there because of her ability and her ceiling. She is one of the best pure athletes in USA Volleyball. You see that when you watch her on the court. Power and verticality look natural to Robinson nothing forced in her game.

#18 Tessa Larkin - Class of 2027 Outside - Club: AZ Storm - Commit: Minnesota

Larkin was as consistent of an attacker as there was in the Class of 2027 over the last two years with no question. She simply delivered tourney to tourney for one of the two most popular clubs in America. Whether she always received the most press or not is one thing, but Larkin was the MVP of the Storm team and consistency was a given, but it was consistency at a high level of production. Her intensity and focus on the court are impressive also this is an athlete that always cares about winning. She is a culture kid that I think coaches put extra value in and I think that is exactly what Minnesota did. Larkin was their goto and they made sure they landed the Arizona OH, she was priority 1 and 1A for their class. She will need to continue to develop the height she plays at, but this is someone who wants the ball in crunch time and has a passion for winning time and big moments. She will put the work in to be great and completely fits the mold of OH’s that Keegan Cook is showing he is being successful with if you look at the Freshman that are playing this year. Larking is simply a step higher on the recruiting ladder. This was a BIG W for the Gophers as she is a Culture W a Competitive W and Talent W.

#19 Lynney Tarnow - Class of 2026 Middle - Club: 1st Alliance - Commit: Wisconsin

Tarnow is the ultimate Wisconsin middle in the nation right now with power, strength, and the overall physicality that she plays with. She has shown flashes of being the #1 overall MB in the USA gym at times during training sessions and over the past two seasons, and her play at 1st Alliance has been equally as dominant in club play. It won’t be surprising to watch Tarnow’s defensive game translate to the B1G.

#20 Kendall Northern - Class of 2026 Middle - Club: Elevation - Commit: Penn State

Northern has rose as far and quickly as anyone in the ’27 Class in most evaluator’s eyes over the past couple of seasons. We have discussed her development strength wise and her feel for the speed and technique playing with top talent, but the athleticism has been there. That is what has really started to show more and more and as her strength and size show out (aka her “high ceiling” plays out early) this Elevation Middle looks less and less like a ? And more like an ! For Penn State.
