Mac's updates on some OH's

Been on the road playing lots myself, but finally got the chance to catch back up on some class of 2027 players our team has liked. A lot of times I don't get to watch players in live time so I spend a ton of time going back and checking out highlights or match re-runs and I've been seeing a ton of great players. I have loved watching the 2027’s over the last couple of months because I've been able to watch their PPV increase slowly over time. There are quite a few players deserving of some increases and here are just a few outside hitters I'm keeping my eye on:

Ellyson Randolph- OH, NC Academy, PPV 236- Such a good player. She just jumps so effortlessly… I wish I could jump like her lol. I love watching her play because she has so much fire. She really looks like a player that enjoys her time on the court and that will really pay off in college.

Makenna Barnes- OH, Mizuno LB, PPV 221- Her 6’2 stature really sets her apart from other undersized OH in her class. She has a really powerful arm swing and scores at a high level for her team. I think she would be a great addition to many power 4 college teams and I will be on the lookout for her over the next couple of weeks.

Sophia Simic- OH, No Name VBC, PPV 236- our team has been really impressed by her the last couple of weeks, warranting a bump in PPV. She’s a tall OH that stands out on her court. She does a great job getting her feet to balls out of system allowing her to beat solid double blocks. Simic is a player I think lots of P4 schools should have their eyes on.

Lexi Martin- OH, TAV, PPV 228- another OH with a bump in PPV from our team. She is such a natural volleyball player. She makes her approach look easy. Her passing form is textbook & so so natural. I really like her armswing and speed into her approach. Overall she's really standing out on an already STACKED team.

Malia Rogers- OH, 6 Pack VBC, PPV 208- has a really high ceiling. She is a total athlete and just makes plays. Rogers is tall and is learning how to use her height to her advantage, hitting over top of lots of blocks. I like how aggressive she is at the net as well. Excited to follow the next few weeks leading up to June 15th!

Carson Caraway- OH, Infinity Volleyball Academy, PPV 239- really strong attacker with a high ceiling. I think she could see another bump in PPV soon with how strong she is playing and how much attention she is drawing to her court. She attacks well from the front row and the back row. I like her ability to swing both down the line and sharp angle. She's also got a gnarly swing from the right… like I said high ceiling, tons of potential here… my eyes are open:)

Keilani Ledaja-Brewer- OH, Triangle, PPV 241- We all agree that we can see her being an absolute stud in college. She has such a long, fast arm swing and gets some crazy kills for her team. She is slowly becoming one of my favs in this class and I can't wait to keep checking in on her before June 15th. She is another player with a MUCH deserved PPV bump.

Rylan Keane- OH, Club One AZ, PPV 204- She is a bit on the smaller size at 6’0 but what she doesn't have in height she makes up for in IQ. She is such a smart attacker. Her shot selection and ability to tool a block is impressive. Very few 16 year olds can tool a block with a tip "Jordan Larson” style and Keane has it down to a science. I am excited to see where she ends up after June 15th because she is very talented and will fit into a program well.
