Who Do You Choose?

Given how dominant this 2025 Longhorn team has been, there have been plenty of standout performances. With so much talent, is there one player who reigns supreme?

A team MVP should be somebody who makes consistent, high-impact contributions during matches, and elevates her teammates throughout the season. Some of these important contributions are things like consistency, leadership, stats, and clutch plays when they matter most. Among the current roster, who do you think displays these traits, making them worthy of being called the team MVP?

While every player has performed great, a few standouts have already made strong cases for MVP this year:

  • Torrey Stafford has been a go to hitter, consistently putting up points and even winning AVCA Player of the Week.
  • Abby Vander Wal has had a breakout freshman season, already putting up double digit kills in several matches, keeping up with experienced players.
  • Cari Spears is another outstanding freshman outside hitter, putting up impressive stats and winning multiple SEC and AVCA Player of the Week awards.
  • Emma Halter has stayed solid on defense, keeping the ball alive, allowing Texas to score.
  • Ella Swindle, who has been crucial in making plays and is constantly controlling the flow of the game and contributing over 9 assists per set.

So who do you think is the biggest contributor, and why? Maybe the true MVP hasn’t shown herself yet, waiting for that moment to shine. As the rest of the season unfolds, who would you pick to receive the MVP award for this year's Texas squad?
