New Player Profiles are PHENOMinal
We have done two years of announcing each week’s New Player Profiles, and this is the 2nd time we have uttered the words GOAT Convo, but this crew is GOAT Worthy, and you will know when you read the bios what we are talking about. This is a Diamond Level Crew, literally.
Chloe Burbage - Class of 2028 Setter - Club: NC Academy - Silver Level Prospect
Burbage's resume includes All-American, Dream Teamer, Future Flocker, NTDPer, and America’s 200 (Top 75). She is a Silver Level prospect right now, and if that 3-step approach and Block Touch shoot up, so will her Prospect Level. Oh, by the way, have we mentioned 5x this week that she is CO, trying out for the U17 National Team? She’s a good one.
McKenzie Swadley - Class of 2027 - Club: CUVC (NC) - Green Level Prospect
Swadley is a new prospect from CUVC who is still looking for her home. We do not know a ton about her yet, and that is a big part of the reason for the Player Profiles. Helping athletes update and get information about their journeys out to coaches. She had 3 D1 Select Camp invites this past summer and is another playing in the competitive state of NC.
Lexi Coleman - Class of 2029 - Club: Legacy Volleyball - Diamond Level Prospect
Literally one of the most sought-after and talented OHs in American prep volleyball right now, Coleman has quite a bit going for her. First off is her attitude and work ethic, plus her drive to be #1. She has quite the resume that she is building for herself as a team member of one of the best club squads in America, and as an individual racking up accolades which she couldn't care less about. I’d go into detail, but then you wouldn’t need to read her Player Profile, silly!
Aven Brantley - Class of 2029 - Club: 3DGE - Elite Orange Level Prospect
Now, Brantley is hot off the Profile presses, just coming in this AM, but we are just taking an educated guess and saying that this is an athlete who is going to end up quite a bit higher on the Prospect Level Charts when we have more time to evaluate her. Playing out of Pittsburgh, she was just named a PA All-Stater as a Freshman and has that long-lean frame that screams “high-ceiling” to college coaches. Already with a 121” 3-step, if that can shoot up to say 123” by mid club season or even camp time, oh yeah, she will get plenty of attention this July. Just mark her down….We are.
Taimane Ainu’u - Class of 2028 - Club: Ka Ulukoa - Diamond Level Prospect
We simply enjoy athletes who do things they know they don’t have to do. One of only 2 Diamond Level Setters in America, Taimane didn’t have to take time to fill out a Player Profile, but she did because we took time to interview her this Summer. That tells you a bit about this rockstar from Hawaii who is trying to get used to her recently found stardom on the national volleyball scene. She is very proud of her heritage and her homeland and loves playing with her friends and even a couple of cousins, whether it’s as an OH or when she gets to set. Her story is a great one, and we are so pumped to have her on board now so we can tell it all the way through her graduation.
Thanks to all of these superstars, and we are getting more and more of the 2028s. This really helps us be able to connect, learn, and tell your story all the way through June and beyond.
