Piper Pease the Ultimate Southpaw in '28

When Drive Nation's 15s Open squad takes the court, you can't miss Piper Pease.  Even though this is her first year playing at the Open level, her physicality and confidence as she strolls out for warmups scream "hey I'm the one you hear to watch". A scout nor fan can ignore that left arm the first time it makes REAL contact with an in-system set....it's simply different than nearly anyone else in this tournament. It's a bit odd, too, because this is Pease's first year on an Open roster with Drive Nation, but boy, has she fit in well.  Running various routes, smooth on her approaches, and fluent with that swing.

She is on pace block-wise to where a top P4 talent should be, elbows above the net with ease, and pressing over. Her approach touch will need to improve over the next year, but her power and how quickly she fires that cannon do allow her to play at a slightly smaller elevation than some.    She is a throwback to the Power Oppos utilized in the Big Ten for decades and might find a spot on the Wisconsin bench now if she quietly grabbed a jersey and sat quietly:)

She plays differently than the other top RS in this talented class, so there will be a market for sure.  When you look at her camp list, you can tell that this might be one of those athletes whom the talent boom has come quickly to.  But, make no mistake.  This Southpaw will knock you out with that left!
