Create a Player ProfileLouisville Volleyball Scouting Begins for Class of 2029

The University of Louisville women’s volleyball program continues to look toward the future, scouting and evaluating talent that could shape the team for years to come. Associate Head Coach Todd Chamberlain, alongside Assistant Coach CC McGraw, recently traveled to Texas as part of a strategic early recruiting trip.
While their primary focus was evaluating prospects in the Class of 2029, the staff also took the opportunity to observe athletes from the Class of 2028. In a sport where long-term recruiting is crucial, these early looks lay the groundwork for competitive success down the line.
As with most early evaluations, this trip marks just the beginning of what will be a multi-year process of tracking player development and building relationships. Still, a few young athletes have already emerged as names to watch.
Here are a few standouts who surfaced during the trip:
- Lexi Coleman, Outside Hitter – Legacy
- Mary-Christine Crutcher, Outside Hitter – Dallas Skyline
- Kaelyn Easton, Setter – Legacy
- Julia Masselink, Outside Hitter – Kairos
Each of these athletes made a strong early impression and could become future stars at the collegiate level. Their inclusion on Louisville’s early radar is a sign of both talent and potential fit within the Cardinals’ system.
As the recruiting process for the Class of 2029 unfolds, Cardinal fans can expect more updates and continued momentum as Louisville builds toward another elite class.
