South Carolina moves up to 3rd in SEC 2027 recruiting ranks with impressive class

South Carolina moves up to 3rd in SEC 2027 recruiting ranks with impressive class

Sarah Rumely Noble is sending a message to South Carolina volleyball fans and to the rest of the SEC conference: this staff isn't messing around when it comes to recruiting.  The Gamecocks landed a verbal from Canadian setter Laura Adel on Friday, the third of the 2027 Class, and it helped give SC a big jolt in talent and in the SEC 2027 Class ranks.  The Canadian setter, who had camped at Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Pitt, just to name a few P4 schools, brings a PPV of 242 (the highest rated prospect for the Gamecocks in the VBAdrenaline Era).  The verbal also helps move South Carolina's class rating into 3rd place in the 2027 rankings in the SEC.

"Coach Rumely-Noble has hit homers with all three commits in this class." VBAdrenaline owner Darren Tipton commented, "She hit on a couple of our favorite dark-horse candidates early with Riggs (Riley) and Shepard (Graceyn) both of whom had options for Top 20 programs in the SEC.  Now landing Adel, who we know was on Michigan State's board and some other Top 20 schools as well, this has to move up as one of the highest impact classes in the nation."

South Carolina did a great job of recognizing attainable athletes in their "Prestige Level" (actually probably slightly above in the Adel and maybe Riggs situations) and went after them dillegently.  This is what successful programs have proven in the past to move up the food chain to build winning volleyball programs.

Great momentum for Caoch Rumely-Noble and her staff as they head into season 1, now to see if they are done or do they try and add another part to the successful class?  Either way W SC!
