Create a Player ProfileLouisville Assistant Coach CC McGraw Scouting Future Talent at AAU Nationals

Louisville assistant volleyball coach CC McGraw was in attendance at the AAU National Championships this week, keeping a close eye on the next wave of potential Cardinals. Held in Orlando, Florida, the event featured some of the top youth talent in the country, with McGraw focusing on athletes in the 14U and 15U divisions, many of whom fall in the recruiting classes of 2028 and 2029.
While NCAA rules restrict direct communication with prospects at this age, the trip allowed McGraw and the Louisville staff to identify standout performers and begin building a watch list for the future.
Among the young athletes who may have caught McGraw’s attention:
- Bethany Benjamin, 2028 libero from A5 Volleyball Club
- Chloe Burbage, 2028 setter representing NC Volleyball Academy
- Lexi Coleman, 2029 outside hitter from Legacy Volleyball Club
- Kari Knotts, 2029 outside hitter from A5
- Sydney Manning, 2029 outside hitter from FaR Out Volleyball Club
Louisville continues to be a national presence on the recruiting trail, and their proactive presence at events like AAU Nationals reflects a commitment to identifying elite talent early.
As these young prospects continue to develop over the next few years, their performances in high-stakes events like this will undoubtedly shape future recruiting decisions and perhaps one day lead them to the court in Cardinal red and black.
