Leighton Froehlich STARES DOWN 2025 Anna Debeer Game Face Award Title

A Stare Down that GOAT herself would be intimidated by and a locked in focus recently that continues to make Leighton Froehlich one of the fastest risers in our class rankings.  Those were two of the biggest components that made this choice a pretty easy one last Summer when we watched the Nebraska 2028 MB have a dominating USA Nationals Tourney and help lead her Nebraska Premier squad to a Natty, in Chicago.  Locked in and using a little extra stare when she would get a big block down the stretch, Froehlich was definitely intense and her teammates fed of her front row play for sure.  Then we got a look at her season pose for the team photo and realized the girl never takes the mean mug off and then we knew, no one else deserves to wear the first ever Anna Debeer crown, but Leighton.

Congrats Miss Froehlich and best of luck at the next level as you head to Rutgers and Jersey, where you are going to need to be tough.  Don't back down you have a rep to protect now!
