HOME IS PERFECT FOR STEINER

NOW VOLLEYBALL RECRUITING IS GETTING FUN!  Yes, Missouri volleyball is a tourney team and yes they are making noise on the recruiting trails that is for sure, but if the days when top national prospects start shutting doing things like; turning down early offers from top-rated schools to take their time in their process, waiting and waiting so they can go on official visits, and evantually still turning down larger "prestige school" offers only to sign with their home state school so they can be a difference maker for a program "on the rise" then this website is ALL IN on supporting those athletes and those recruiting battles.

Marlee Steiner, PPV score of 275 and one of our Top 4 middles in the Class of 2027, did most of those things in her recruitment before finally committing this week to her home state Mizzou Tigers.  Steiner was one of the fast-rising prospects in the class as her game and body matured, and she became a defensive stopper and solo blocking machine, earning NTDP invites and All-Tourney accolades early and often this club season.  Her name had been tossed around on short lists with 20+ tournament schools, and you saw the "who's who" of top coaches at her court all qualifier season.  But, as mid-June came around, Steiner was in no hurry to make a decision and wanted to take her time.  This cost her some school options and opened up others.  Still, demand was at an ultra-high level for the St. Louis area prospect.

With the decision to join Mizzou, Steiner brings the Tiger Class into the Top 13 and also combines back-to-back legit classes in the SEC for one of last year's Cinderella Stories in P4 volleyball.  Being the hometown hero should also bring extra fans and a built-in cheering section for Steiner.
