Coach Rosen Shows off Baseball Skills

Creighton head coach Brian Rosen took the mound to show off his baseball skills getting the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Creighton baseball game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. 

Coach Rosen said, “Growing up in Florida as a huge baseball fan, attending the college world series was always a dream of mine and now I get to go every year.” Not only does Coach Rosen get to attend, but he got to throw out the first pitch at the very stadium where the College World Series takes place, Charles Schwab field!

He also said, “It was such a fun and nerve wracking experience, especially with my oldest daughter ready to heckle me! Thankfully I was able to make it over the plate. I just love how much this community supports Creighton volleyball.”

Hopefully we will see more baseball skills from Coach Rosen in the future as the Bluejays baseball team has been doing very well this year! Regardless, this was another great way to promote Creighton volleyball.
