Benjamin Gets Best Birthday Gift

As we get older, birthday presents don't have to be wrapped in big boxes; they can be as simple as a card, a nice dinner, or even a thoughtful gesture.  For Kentucky medical redshirt FR Hannah Benjamin, she received one of the best birthday gifts ever Saturday, and it's one all of Big Blue Nation gets to enjoy as well.  The former UA All-American was given the clearance to return to full activity exactly one year after a knee injury sidelined her during her freshman season at UK.  It was also a day before her 20th birthday.  The team believed she was back to near full strength for most of the spring, but did not want to do anything to risk rushing the talented outside back for any reason.  Benjamin was delighted, according to her social media account, on Saturday.  What a gift to be able to get back to the game you love after being sidelined for a full year.
