Weekly Risers: The Latest Names Making Noise

Raegan Randazzo | 2029 | LIB/DS | Sports Performance

Raegan Randazzo is putting together a standout run in the back row, reaching 1,000 digs in a single club season in 2026 while helping Sports Performance to a 15U Club Championship. She has also earned four All-Tournament Team selections and has been named a Noezybuckets Play of the Week selection 10 times. Randazzo's success extends beyond club volleyball, as she was part of a school team that went 72-1 and also has a first-place beach volleyball finish on her résumé. With her defensive production and 2026 AVCA Phenom Watch List recognition, Randazzo is a 2029 LIB/DS continuing to make her mark.

Samantha Baty | 2027 | S/OPP | A5 

Samantha Baty continues to build a strong résumé heading into her senior season, earning recognition on the 2026 AVCA All-American Watch List. The 5-foot-11 S/OPP is also a two-time AVCA Phenom Watch List selection, a 2025 All-Region honoree and 2025 All-State finalist. Baty has also recorded 1,000+ career school assists and had a 2024 club season with 1,000 assists and 100 aces, giving her a long track record of production heading into her final high school season.

Ellie Gebhardt | 2030 | S | Triangle | Watch List

Ellie Gebhardt earns a spot on this week's list after being named to the 2026 AVCA Phenom Watch List. The 5-foot-11 setter also earned a spot on the 2026 Carolina Region All-Star 15U Team and helped her team reach a 2026 GJNC 14 National Qualifier, giving her plenty of early competitive experience to build on.

Ellyson Fogle | 2028 | OH/OPP | Tennessee Performance Volleyball | EKU

Ellyson Fogle continues to build a strong résumé in the 2028 class, with her latest recognition coming from the 2026 AVCA Phenom Watch List. The 5-foot-11 OH/OPP is also coming off a 2026 AAU National Championship, a 2026 GJNC All-Tournament Team selection and a Sunshine Classic USA Division Championship. Fogle has been a consistent presence on the national scene, with multiple AAU and JVA Watch List honors already on her résumé, and is committed to Eastern Kentucky.

Minnie Parsley | 2029 | LIB/DS | Rhythm Volleyball Academy | Watch List

Minnie Parsley is putting together a strong stretch in the back row, earning AVCA Phenom Watch List recognition and a spot on the High Academic Watchlist in August. She also recently recorded a career-high 42 digs in a single match, earning recognition as one of DNJ/Tennessee’s Top Match Players of the Week. Parsley has already been on the VBAdrenaline radar, including two Weekly Riser features during the 2025-26 club season and a VBAdrenaline Libero Spotlight. She’ll also step into a bigger role at Providence Christian Academy as the program’s selected libero for the 2026-27 season, making her a player to continue watching in the 2029 class.

Lena Smith | 2029 | OH/DS | NPJ

Lena Smith is showing measurable growth heading into the new season, increasing her approach touch from 116 to 118 and her block touch from 114 to 116. The 2029 OH/DS has also built a strong résumé, including First Team All-League honors and UA NEXT recognition at both the middle school and high school levels.

Ashlyn Quiri | 2027 | OH | AZ Sky | Florida State

Ashlyn Quiri is coming off a standout summer, earning 1st place and MVP honors with Team USA at the Global Challenge Pula 2026 while also landing on the 2026 AVCA High School All-American Watch List. The 6-foot-2 OH also helped AZ Sky Gold finish third at USAV Nationals in 17 Open and take first at the Reno Far West 17 Open tournament. Quiri’s recent international success and continued production at the club level make her a clear riser heading into her senior season at the high school level.

Maddie Carroll | 2028 | OPP/OH | 3DGE

Maddie Carroll continues to build on a strong résumé as a 2028 OPP/OH, earning spots on both the 2026 JVA Watch List and 2026 AVCA Phenom Watch List. The 6-foot-1 pin also added select camps at Coastal Carolina and Pitt, while attending the UA NEXT camp in Orlando this summer. Carroll has made a jump physically as well, increasing her approach touch from 118 to 119 and her block touch from 115 to 116. With another round of recognition and continued growth in her measurables, Carroll is a name moving up our radar.

Addison Basche | 2030 | L/DS | Kairos Elite

Basche has continued to make a name for herself with Kairos Elite, putting together several notable accomplishments over the past couple of seasons. She earned X1 Exact All-American honors in 2026 and was selected again for the X1 Exact All-American Team Italy 2027. Basche also received All-American recognition at AAU Nationals in 2026 and was part of the 15U NCR All-Star Team in 2025. Her recent recognition at multiple events continues to add to an already strong résumé.

Morgan Parris | 2030 | MB/OPP/DS | Academy Volleyball Cleveland

Parris is continuing to make an early impact at the high school level, earning a spot on VBAdrenaline’s 2030-31 Young Standouts list. The 6'1" freshman is already starting on varsity and has been productive early in the season, averaging 2.1 kills per set while tying for the team lead in total kills. Her combination of early varsity experience and continued recognition makes her a name to keep an eye on.

Yemaya Chappell | 2029 | MB/OPP/DS | SC Rockstar

At 6'4", Chappell has continued to establish herself as a major name in the 2029 class. Her résumé includes USAV NTDP experience in both Spring and Summer Training this year, along with an Under Armour Next MS MVP Award and High School Invite selection. She has also been a standout at the varsity level, earning Rookie of the Year honors while serving as a team captain. With experience across multiple positions and a long list of high-level camp invitations, Chappell's profile continues to reflect the level of attention surrounding her in the class.

Grace Connally | 2028 | S/OPP/DS | Austin Performance

Connally continues to make her mark at College Station High School, recently reaching an impressive milestone with 1,000 career assists. The 5'11" setter/opposite has been a varsity contributor since her freshman season and has earned First Team All-District honors, along with multiple Academic All-District selections. Connally was also part of a 5A Division I state championship team that finished third in 2024-25.

Bahar Graham | 2030 | OPP/MB | Tribe 

Bahar Graham is making her mark with Tribe after a strong 14 Open club season, finishing with 134 kills, 23 aces, 90 digs and 41 blocks while hitting .302. Graham helped Tribe win the 2026 Lone Star Classic 14 Open championship and finish third at Triple Crown 14U Open after also placing third at USAV and AAU Nationals in 2025. Her recent results and all-around production have earned Graham a spot on the 2026 AVCA Phenom Watch List, making the 2030 OPP/MB one of the latest young prospects we’re keeping an eye on.

Olena Harasymowycz | 2030 | LIB/DS | PCVC

Olena Harasymowycz has been playing really well recently, including a 19-dig performance against Oaks Christian. The 2030 LIB/DS also brings plenty of high-level club experience, with GJNC bids in both the 15 Open and 15 USA divisions in 2026, plus GJNC bronze and silver medals in previous seasons. Harasymowycz has also attended a UA NEXT Camp and is continuing to make her presence felt in the back row.

Kalenna Thiele | 2030 | LIB/DS/S | Arizona Storm

Kalenna Thiele made an impression at the Durango Classic, earning a spot as one of this week’s risers. The 2030 LIB/DS/S already brings a deep résumé of national-level experience, including multiple junior beach national championships, USAV NTDP invitations in both indoor and beach volleyball, and 35 Division I college camp invites in 2026. Thiele has also helped Arizona Storm to success across multiple age groups and earned All-Tournament Team honors at the 2026 Triple Crown Summer NIT. With her versatility across the back row and setter position, plus a long track record of high-level competition, Thiele is a 2030 we’ll continue watching closely.

Sahej K Ahluwalia | 2031 | S/OPP | A4 Volleyball | Watch List

Sahej Ahluwalia is a 2031 lefty S/OPP who has been putting in the work and starting to show it on the court. At 5-foot-10, Ahluwalia is already playing up with A4’s 14s while continuing to develop her game and gain experience against older competition. She has also attended a UA NEXT Middle School Camp. Off the court, Ahluwalia is active in A4 Volleyball, Science Olympiad, Symphony Orchestra and her school’s Scholar’s Program, while also participating in the GATE program. Her continued development and willingness to play up make her a 2031 prospect we’ll be watching closely.
