Top Liberos go Early:
Signals had been mixed this year on the liberos and it was hard to get a good read if there would be national market for the position or if it would be a more of a regional year, but early on some of the top programs have pounced early on their #1 choices and made sure to lock them up.
Cora Bicknese: Vital of Minnesota gets offered immediately by Michigan State as they start their rebuild of the program.
Ella Horvick: OTVA of Florida commits to Duke on Day 2 as the Devils look to bolster that part of their roster to go with the strong offensive class they had in 2025. They grab on of the best liberos on the East Coast right off the bat.
Elizabeth Bower: Idaho Crush of Idaho fills the Louisville Cardinals #1 need and was their #1 target. The Idaho prospect had a very impressive final list of Louisville, Wisconsin and Kentucky so the Cards are getting a great one.
Talent of all types:
There were stars of all kins on the first two days. From Kendall Omoryuri at PPV 290 on down. The avg. PPV Score for Day 1 and 2 was 190 (Red Zone). Which is a very solid volleyball player still.
Setters lead the way:
We talked about our Setter Domino Theory before. There was a tiny Domino run on Day 2 already, with 9 of 29 commits being floor generals thus far.
