Super 7 Futures: Outsides That Will Be Assets To College Programs Soon
The Outside Hitter position on the volleyball court is considered one of the most difficult due to the amount of responsibility these players take on during each game. A talented outside hitter must not only master the art of hitting and blocking but serve receive and defense are yet another component of all the duties a good outside hitter must have to compete at a high level. These seven 2027 Outsides are the whole package and will be an asset to college volleyball teams in the near future!
Hailey Mueller – PPV 210 – Triangle Volleyball Club – Cardinal Gibbons High School
Hailey is a North Carolina volleyball star that stands at 6’0” with an impressive arm swing and approach that allows her to hit all spots on the court. Hailey is solid in both serve receive and defense allowing her to hold down a six rotation outside position on both her high school and club teams. Her college camp resume includes Kentucky, Ohio State, Tennessee, North Carolina, Duke, Michigan, and Brown. Some of Haliey's career highlights include AVCA Phenom, USAV HP Select, AAU All-Tournament Team, and UA Next Camp Invite. Mueller's all-around game will make her an asset to any college program in need of a hardworking playmaker!
Annika Dandridge – PPV 202 – Paramount VBC – The Catholic High School of Baltimore
Annika is a 6’0” attacker from Baltimore, Mayland. She has a great attacking range with the ability to hammer a hard cross 4 to 4 shot but also knows when to use the block or throw in a tip/roll shot. Dandridge is a solid defender and serve receive passer. She holds down the back row well and makes sure to maintain a solid platform and angle while passing the ball. Annika’s college camp resume includes Miami (FL), Florida, and UMBC. Some of her accomplishments include a UA Next 2024 HS Camp Invite, Prep Dig Chesapeake All-Tournament Team, and Prep Dig Sunshine Classic Showcase Top Performer. Dandridge will be a super solid addition to any team's roster!
Coco Lewis – PPV 202 – VA Juniors – Herndon High School
Coco stands at 6’2” and hails from the beautiful state of Virginia. What makes Coco stand out is not only her ability to smash the ball through a block but the range of attacks from line shots to over the block back line swings and tips are impressive to watch. She is not afraid to step in there and receive hard driven serves. Coco has an impressive lineup of college camps which includes Pittsburgh, Florida, Virginia, and LSU. Some of her accomplishments include garnering 1st team all-district and region honors in the state of Virginia as well as a UA Next Invite in 2025. Watch out... Coco’s play making abilities will make her a hot commodity come June 15th and beyond.
Mallory Wandel – PPV 193 – MVA Rise Volleyball Academy – Rockford High School
Mallory stands at 6’1” and is from Rockford, Michigan. She has a speedy approach that allows her to not only destroy the ball through the seems of the block, but it opens up the line shot which she makes look effortless. Wandel's fast arm swings keeps defenders guessing allowing her to hit open spots and use the block to her advantage. Mallory’s college camp resume includes Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio State, and Michigan State. She also was named 1st team all-state, as well as garnering all region honors twice in her young career. Mallory is a commanding force on the court that colleges would be sorry to pass up!
Brooklyn Hall – PPV 190 – Mintonette Sports – Licking Heights High School
Standing at just 5’9” this Ohio native has impressive hopes and defensive abilities. Brooklyn may just be 5’9”, but she plays like she is much bigger. She jumps high allowing her to hit the ball around the block and smash it deep down the line. Her smaller stature allows her to be super scrappy on defense as well as a good serve receive passer. Hall betters the ball in almost every situation and makes sure to put forth max effort to ensure the ball does not drop. Do not let Brooklyn’s height fool you... she is a fantastic player with a bright volleyball future!
Georgia Lee – PPV 186 – Serve and Spike Volleyball Club - Lolani School
This 6’1” Hawaii native has an impressive lineup of college camps including Texas, USC, and Stanford. Georgia is patient when it comes to attacking. She waits just the right amount of time to start her fast approach and avoid/use the blocks. She is a great serve receive passer that makes her available out of the back row for attacking purposes as well. Georgia is not only impressive in the classroom, but she has many different honors like 2x UA Next Invite, NTDP, and 1st team all-state honors in the state of Hawaii. Keep your eyes out for Georgia come June 15th.
Kieran Rhoton – PPV 181 – Metro VBC of DC – Independence High School
Kieran is a 6’1” dynamic attacker from Leesburg, Virginia. She hits on both of the pins very well. She can identify a solid block and hit around it. She also penetrates that net well on her block. Rhoton is a six-rotation player that reads the court well as well as serve receiving at a high clip. She has a camp lineup that features The College of Charleston, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech. She was named a Virginia Class 5A Potomac District First Team Outside Hitter in 2024. Keiran's ability to score on both pins as well as contribute kills from the back row will make her an asset to many college programs!
