March Commits: 2027s from the Southwest and Lone Star Regions

March was a busy month for many 2027 prospects. VB Adrenaline is diving deep into the month’s announced commitments, and here’s what you need to know about March commits from the Southwest and Lone Star regions.

Klancee Larsen, MB - BYU

Level: Orange

Larsen is a middle blocker who plays for Club V and Viewmont High School. Originally committed to Utah State, she announced her flip to BYU in March. She is one of five members of the 2027 BYU class, which includes fellow march commit Halle Bryce.

Danica Beveridge, MB - Duke

Level: Green

Standing at 6’2”, Beveridge is a middle blocker who plays for Houston Skyline and Magnolia High School in Magnolia, Texas. She is a capable hitter who terminates both in front of the setter and behind on the slide.

Audree Hughes, OH - Providence

Level: Orange

Hughes is a 6’1” outside hitter who plays for Texas Advantage and Southlake Carroll High School. With the latter, she won a state championship last fall. She attended camps at many schools, including Minnesota, Duke, and TCU, before committing to Providence in the Big East.

Nicole Damian, S/OPP - Bryant

Level: Green

Capable of playing both setter and opposite, Damian is a three-time A1A State Champion with Cicero Preparatory Academy. She was named the 2025 All-Conference Player of the Year. From Scottsdale, Arizona, she plays club volleyball with Club One Arizona and is headed to Rhode Island to play for Bryant of the America East conference.

Anela Wailani, L/DS - Army

Level: Red

A libero from Phoenix, Arizona, Wailani will bring strong fundamentals and a keen ability to read the game to Army West Point. She plays club volleyball with Revolution Academy and for her the varsity squad at Pinnacle High School, where she has been recognized with many awards including being named the 2025 Varsity MVP and 2024 Defensive Player of the Year.

Rileigh Dixon, OH - East Carolina

Level: Green

Dixon is a 5’9” outside hitter from Littleton, Colorado. She plays varsity volleyball at Mountain Vista High School and is part of Elevation Volleyball Club. In addition to her reliable offense, she’ll be bringing steady passing and defensive hustle to East Carolina of the AAC.

Chloe Lopez, L/DS - Providence

Level: Blue

Lopez is a 5’5” libero from Las Vegas, Nevada. She plays for the Vegas Aces and Bishop Gorman High School varsity team, with whom she won the 2024 and 2025 Nevada 5A Girls State Championships.

Brielle Boothe, L/DS - Texas State

A 5’6” libero from Boerne, Texas, Boothe has committed to stay in-state and play for Texas State. She plays club volleyball for South Texas Volleyball Academy and is a member of the Boerne-Champion girls varsity team, where she is a multi-time Defensive MVP and was named to the 2026 5A All District First Team.

Mia Owens, OH/OPP - Mercer

Owens is a 6’0” pin hitter from Spring, Texas who has committed to play for Mercer of the Southern Conference (SoCon). She plays club volleyball for [x] and is a member of the Grand Oaks High School varsity team. She was named to the 2025 GJNC 16 USA Division All-Tournament Team and earned back-to-back state championships with Grand Oaks.

Peighton Purser, OH - Sam Houston

Purser is a 6’2” outside hitter who will be joining Sam Houston State University in 2027. She plays club volleyball for Dallas Premier and on the Farmersville High School varsity team. In her 2025 season, she was named the 17 Black Geoff Team MVP and District Offensive Player of the Year.
