Create a Player ProfileMarch Commits: 2027s from the Northwest and Cali Isles Regions

March was a busy month for many 2027 prospects. VB Adrenaline is diving deep into the month’s announced commitments, starting with those from the Northwest and Cali Isles regions.
Halle Bryce, OH/OPP - BYU
Level: Elite Orange
Bryce is a pin hitter from California who has just committed to play for BYU. A key player for City 17 Gold, she stands at 6’2”, allowing her to bring both size and power to every swing. With City 15 Gold, She placed third in the GJNC 15 Open division in 2024.
Bryce is now the fifth 2027 commit to BYU, along with libero Aubrey Burns, middle blockers Jadyn Clinkscale and Klancee Larsen (the latter being a fellow March commit), and setter Katherine McDonald.
Chloe Willman, OPP - Pepperdine
At 6’5”, Willman brings plenty of size and power to the right pin. Even without getting her full approach in, her high contact point creates deadly angles to put the ball away for a kill. And when she does get her full approach, opposing defenders better watch out.
Willman joins Pepperdine from Hawaii’s Spike and Serve, where she plays for the 17 G Dan team.
Evelyn “Evie” Pool, MB - UC San Diego
Level: Elite Orange
Pool was originally committed to Duke before a change of plans now lands her on the opposite side of the country. She has trained with USA Volleyball’s U17 National Team Development Program (NTDP) and plays club volleyball with Forza1 North 17 ONE.
Lauren Green, OH - Army West Point
Level: Green
A club teammate of Pool’s, Green is a 5’11” outside hitter from California who has just committed to Army West Point. She has a fast arm and can be lethal on either side of the court.
Opal Warner, OH/OPP - Lehigh
Level: Green
Don’t let her height fool you—5’9” pin hitter and recent Lehigh commit Opal Warner is quick on her feet and has a powerful arm. A key member of the Chadwick High School girls team, she was a First Team All-CIF selection. She plays her club ball for SC Rockstar 17 Adidas.
Peyton Erickson, MB/OPP - Troy University
Level: Green
Coast’s 6’1” Peyton Erickson has announced her commitment to Troy University in Alabama. A right side and middle blocker, she plays on the varsity team at Westview High School in San Diego, where she was named the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year.
Ellie Woolwine, OH, Sacramento State
Level: Blue
Sac State commit Ellie Woolwine is a 5’10” outside hitter who plays for Coast’s 18-1 Victor team. As a member of the San Marcos varsity indoor team, she was a 2025 All-Coastal League First Team selection. She also plays beach volleyball.
Alyssa Ortiz, OH - Fairleigh Dickinson

Lauren Rohman, S - Portland State
Eugene-based Lauren Rohman is headed about two hours north to play for Portland State. A lefty setter who plays for Webfoot Juniors, Rohman sets a clean offense while also making herself a threat in the front row.
Maria Waldorf, MB - Cornell
Seattle’s Maria Waldorf is another recent commit headed to the Ivy League. She already stands at 6’2”, but plays like she’s even taller thanks to a wide wingspan and diligence at the net. Waldorf plays club volleyball for Sudden Impact’s 18-1 Tsunami team and on the Lakeside High School varsity squad.
Aanya Hotha, MB - University of Pennsylvania
Ivy League-bound Aanya Hotha is a 6’2” middle blocker who plays for Vision Volleyball Club’s 17 Gold squad, with whom she finished second in the 18 Open division at the NorCal Winter Classic.
