Class of 2028 Top 200
PPV Ranks Pre-June 15th
105-101
150. Meredith Liles - Opposite North Carolina - Club: NC Academy
149. Lauren Sheldon - Outside Michigan - Club: Legacy
*Sheldon w/ approach of 122”
148. Reagan Futa - Libero/DS Indiana - Club: Municana
*Futa has attended several P4 select camps including ND, Clemson and Michigan State
147. Addison Musgrove - Setter Texas - Club: Houston Skyline
146. Elle Hatlevig - Outside Iowa - Club: Iowa Premier
*Top prospect in state of Iowa
145. Carsyn Chitty - Libero/DS Ohio - Club: Mintonette Sport
144. Chloe Frizzell - Middle Texas - Club: Austin Juniors
143. Gillian Pfeiffer - Middle Missouri - Club: HPSTL **HOT RISER ALERT
*Another impressive and physical middle from the STL that has impressed college coaches this season. 6’3” and strong she has made some serious moves up Big Boards of several Midwest programs heading into June. Watch for another move up for Pfeiffer before our next ranking.
142. Camryn Corso - OH Texas - Club: TAV
*Corso just recently made a move up our charts with a bump in her PPV score after a great showing at TAV’s final qualifier. Another of the MULTIPLE P4 athletes on that squad, Corso is being watched by several schools heading to June.
141. Kate Clegg - OPP Texas - Club: Skyline Juniors
*Clegg has an interesting path, being pursued from B1G to SEC schools, but also some IVYs as well. She has the game and academics for both so her June will be especially interesting to follow.
140. Ella Mossbacher - Outside Florida - Club: OTVA
*An outside, but very similar athlete to Clegg, Mossbacher has looks from IVY along with SEC and ACC programs. She has been a Prep standout in Florida and a Club All-American for OTVA.
139. Addison Tucker - Libero/DS Texas - Club: TAV
138. Zoe Keaney - Middle Hawaii - Club: Spike and Serve
*Another of the Hawaii standouts in the ’28 Class Keaney has picked up more and more attention throughout the season. She is on the wish list of 8-10 mainland schools in the Western US, but that could change with early June Camp Week.
137. Liv Wender - Setter Michigan - Club: Legacy
*Wender is your Legacy prototype setter, mechanically solid and vocal. She is a floor general and knows the game. Her camp list a long and varied. I think there is still a lot to be determined in her story yet and will be determined on how things fall in June and her performance the rest of the summer. Regardless I think schools will know what they are getting when they take her, which is a great feeling.
136. Penelope Reisman - Setter Ohio - Club: Tri-State Elite
*Reisman has a previous camp visit to NC State, but we hadn’t heard much from her this season, but she did just get a PPV bump after her final team qualifier of the season. Penelope is one of the more solid setters in the Midwest for the class of ’28.
135. Dakota Washington - Libero/DS Georgia - Club: A5 **Hot Riser Alert
*Washington took a big leap the last month again with her solid play and impressing some scouts. It can be easy to get looked passed on that team with so much front row super-star power, but Washington has been steady and reliable all season for A5 and legit Top 10s are noticing. Big June ahead.
134. Reese Moriarity - Outside Texas - Club: Houston Juniors
*Moriarity is right “in that mix” of OH that will be “clustered together” and looked at by about 10 different SEC/ACC schools when June comes. They will all show up now in this range and are from the TX, FL, GA areas (basically our SE and Lodestar regions). She has camped at Vandy and Clemson and those are both solid programs with the arrows going up in a positive way for sure. She is productive club player with great numbers.
133. Aliyah Harris - Outside Missouri - Club: KC Power
132. Maggie Jewell - Middle North Carolina - Club: NC Academy
*Jewell just updated her camp plans for June and has added ND again. I do think that Jewell is a player that will continue to develop each year and has made strides this season from last, she has a few other camps on her June plate so it will be interesting to see if she is committed by Nationals or not as they should be in the running for a decent spot and have some eyes on them.
131. Isabella Linden - Libero Florida - Club: OTVA
*We wrote on Linden’s updates this week as she has picked up several camp invites and has a wide range of them.
130. Riley Stringer - Setter California - Club: TStreet
*Again we have not heard any updates from Stringer this season on her recruiting or camp plans so not sure what she is thinking. It is a deep year for setters and many top schools are in need of them. She has the talent, but exactly where she is looking we aren’t privy to that. Guess it will depend on if she want s to play or wait at a larger program for a couple of years.
129. Jaelyn Jordan - Setter Missouri - Club: MAVS
128. Tynity Alsaid - Setter Texas - Club: Madfrog **Class Sleeper Alert
*Alsaid has that experience playing both setter and opposite and has camped at SMU, A+M, Baylor, TCU and North Texas. We have not received her updated June plans as of yet, but she is a physical setter who can control the net and has excellent accuracy and command. She has also done a terrific job with this team as they have had a great season.
127. Chika Onukwugha - Outside Virginia - Club: METRO
126. Maddie Gonyeau - Setter North Carolina - Club: Triangle
125. Kendall Youmans - Middle Florida - Club: Top Select
124. Cairo Turner - Middle Maryland - Club: METRO
123. Deviryn McCarty - Libero/DS Iowa - Club: Kairos
*We wrote about McCarty and her return to action two weeks ago. We watched her live this weekend and she is back and it was great to see her out on the court and showing zero side affects or not favoring one leg or the other. She actually looks much stronger than a year ago. Her camp plan for June is ASU, K State, Auburn and Kansas, but I could see some others trying to hop in late for the Iowa prospect after seeing her healthy.
122. Loyrn Piening - Middle Nebraska - Club: Nebraska ONE
*Piening had camped at UNI, USD, K State and Tennessee but we haven’t received updates for this June as of yet. She has had a terrific club season playing OPEN on one of the best 17s teams in the country. She is strong and her get-off rate is quick. I’d like to see what her block touch has improved to.
121. Addison Waldorf - Setter Iowa - Club: Iowa Premier
120. Aleah Edmond - Outside Texas - Club: Skyline Juniors
119. Evan Beville - Setter Texas - Club: TAV
118. Kinsley Whitfield - Libero/DS Michigan - Club: Far OUT VB
117. Katie Wawersich - Middle Texas - Club: TAV
116. Kennedy Hummert - Libero/DS Pennsylvania - Club: 3DGE
*Hummert has held steady as one of the best bros in the NE in the class and playing up at 17s has helped sharpen her game. She has camped with ASU, NC, Wright State, Miami, Cal and WVU before and are waiting to hear her June plans. She is dependable and could come into a midrange P4 program and be a serve-receive specialist right away.
115. Elsa St. Rose - Outside Texas - Club: Houston Juniors
*St. Rose will be another in that mix of ACC/SEC schools looking to add athletic depth from the SE and Lodestar regions.
114. Sloane Rattay - Outside Oklahoma - Club: Oklahoma Charge
*Rattay looking to get back on the court after injury rehab to show coaches she’s ready again. She has attended nearly 20 Select Camps and could be looked at as more of a DS role depending on what level she wants to play at?
113. Chayse Gilliand - Outside Tennessee - Club: Tennessee Performance **Class Sleeper Alert
112. Jada Skinner - Outside Texas - Houston Skyline
111. Eden Knapp - Middle Florida - Club: OTVA
*Knapp has several SEC schools having her camp with them this June and then K State and Virginia are interested in her attending also. She is a physical middle that is working to increase her verticality and explosiveness, but is a problem to opponents with her block already.
110. Amiya Bryant - Middle Texas - Club: Houston Juniors
*Bryant recently made a jump in the rankings with her PPV following her play during the final qualifier for her clubs season.
109. Zoe Fuqua - Opposite Texas - Club: SA Juniors
108. Lowe Long - Outside Ohio - Club: Tri-State Elite
*Long has looked at several camps on the West Coast that have included high-academics like MIT, Pepperdine and so on. She has looked at schools on the other other coast as well. She is in the “200+ Club” so this is a dymanic OH who can help many programs early, but it sounds like you better have a rigorous curriculum and some warm sunny weather as your recruiting pitch:)
107. Stella Sanchez - Middle Texas - Club: Skyline Juniors
106. Taylor Toomay - Outside Texas - Club: Excel Volleyball
*We may have written as much about Toomay as anyone in the class, but she keeps climbing. Camps planned at KU, Mizzou, Colorado, Miami, Florida and more Toomay is in demand. She may crack the Top 100 before June 15.
105. Mandela Masimini - Middle Maryland - Club: VA Juniors **RED HOT RISER ALERT
*She is camping all around the METRO and Bama, UCLA, Ole Miss and more. We couldn’t get enough of Mandela at NTDP and can’t wait to watch her more this coming weekend again. She is another one who could very easily work into that Top 100 by June 15.
104. Natalie Marciante - Outside Florida - Club: TRIBE
103. Brooke Neale - Libero/DS Indiana - Club: Munciana
*We wrote about Brooke on the site awhile back also, she is that athlete doing everything she should do to help her recruiting. Posting highlights, messing, etc. She has a full resume, been to so many camps and she trains hard. We have to check in and see what her June plans are.
102. Janie Myers - Setter Georgia - Club: A5
*Myers coming back from an injury at the very beginning of the club season has rehabbed all season and that can’t be easy at all. She is a college level setter no doubt, as we have tried to do with many other athletes we try and be fair/honest as to how the injury affects their recruiting.
She is going to get an offer it’s simply figuring where and when. Myers is another PERFECT example of an athlete who would completely benefit from the CALENDAR BEING MOVED BACK A YEAR like FB and BASKETBALL.
101. Aubree Svoboda - Libero/DS Texas - Club: Houston Juniors
*Svoboda is in the Libero Cluster and is a solid one. She has had a good year with her new team. We will try and get June updates on what she is looking at camp wise as I’m sure this is a stressful time for liberos in this recruiting atmosphere, especially with the 5 for 5. But, being at HJV and having solid guidance Svoboda will have options.
