Before They Go: The 2027s Making Their Final Season Count

Caroline Ward | 2027 | OPP | Tri-West Hendricks High School

Caroline Ward is making her final high school season count. The 6-foot OPP and SMU commit has taken on a major leadership role for Tri-West Hendricks as team captain while continuing to be one of the team’s biggest offensive weapons. Ward currently leads the team in both kills with 254 and kills per set at 5.3, putting her at the center of Tri-West Hendricks’ offense. With her senior season underway and her next chapter at SMU already set, Ward is finishing her high school career as a player her team can rely on heavily while on the court. 

Riley Riggs | 2027 | OH/DS | Mill Valley High School

Riley Riggs is putting together another standout senior season at Mill Valley. The South Carolina commit is currently hitting an impressive .460, good for No. 1 in Kansas Class 6A, while also averaging 5.9 kills per set and leading her team in blocks with 7 and aces with 12. Riggs has already built one of the strongest résumés in the 2027 class. She was part of back-to-back Kansas 6A state championship teams in 2023 and 2024, earning State Championship Match Player of the Game honors in 2024. She has also earned KVA First Team and All-State honors, multiple All-League selections, and AVCA Phenom recognition in both 2023 and 2024. She also owns Mill Valley’s school records for most kills and most aces in a season and was named a MaxPreps High School Sophomore All-American and National Player of the Week. With her final high school season underway, Riggs is continuing to show exactly why South Carolina came calling.

Addison Harris | 2027 | OH/OPP | Arlington High School

Addison Harris is putting together a strong final high school run at Arlington. The 5-foot-10 OH/OPP and Ole Miss commit is currently leading her team in kills with 168, kills per set at 4.5, and hitting percentage at .450. Her .450 hitting percentage currently ranks No. 1 in Tennessee AAA District 15, while her 4.5 kills per set have made her one of Arlington’s most consistent offensive weapons. With her senior season underway and her next chapter already set at Ole Miss, Harris is making sure her final high school season is one to remember.

Reagan Meyers | 2027 | OH | Superior High School

Reagan Meyers is making an impact from the service line during her final high school season. The 6-foot-2 Omaha commit currently leads Superior in service aces with 25, a mark that ranks No. 10 in Nebraska overall and No. 3 in Class C2. With her size and ability to put pressure on opponents from the service line, Meyers has been a key contributor for Superior as she finishes out her high school career before heading to Omaha.

Maddy Conner | 2027 | OPP/OH | Seattle Prep

Maddy Conner is making her presence felt early in her final high school season at Seattle Prep. The 6-foot-3 Boston College commit currently leads her team in kills per set at 2.5, with 10 kills already in the young season. Conner enters her senior year with First Team All-Metro and All-State honors already on her résumé, along with recognition as a National Phenom and UA NEXT athlete. She was also invited to UA NEXT 2026 in Los Angeles, continuing to earn opportunities on the national stage. With her final high school season underway, Conner is looking to make the most of her last run before taking her game to Boston College.

Charley Gardner | 2027 | OH/DS | Anthony Wayne High School

Charley Gardner is making an impact in her final high school season at Anthony Wayne. The 2027 Bowling Green State commit currently leads her team in both kills and kills per set, putting down 126 kills at 4.5 K/S. Gardner enters her senior season with plenty of experience behind her, including an Ohio Division II State Runner-Up finish and First Team All-District honors. As an OH/DS, she brings versatility on both sides of the ball while stepping into a major offensive role for Anthony Wayne. With her high school career winding down, Gardner is looking to build on a strong résumé and finish her final season as one of Anthony Wayne's key players before heading to Bowling Green State.

Hailey Mueller | 2027 | OH/OPP | Cardinal Gibbons High School

Hailey Mueller is making an impact all over the court during her final high school season at Cardinal Gibbons. The 6-foot-1 Harvard commit currently leads her team in digs, with 51 digs at 3.2 digs per set, showing the defensive side of her game is making just as much of an impact as her offensive ability. Mueller enters her senior season with an impressive résumé that includes AVCA Phenom recognition, USAV HP Select, an AAU All-Tournament Team selection and a UA NEXT Camp invitation. As an OH/OPP, she brings both versatility and high-level experience to her final high school run before heading to Harvard.

Anela Wailani | 2027 | LIB/DS | Pinnacle High School

Anela Wailani is heading into her final high school season as one of Pinnacle’s most accomplished defensive players. The 5-foot-10 Army West Point commit earned All District Player of the Year honors in 2025 after previously being named Pinnacle’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2024. Wailani has continued to build her résumé throughout her high school career, earning AIA 6A Desert Valley All-Region First Team honors, a Westwood TOC All-Tournament Team selection and Pinnacle’s MVP award. She has also been recognized by VBAdrenaline on the 2027 Libero List and as one of the 2025 NIT Libero & Middle Standouts. Now in her senior season, Wailani is looking to put together one more strong run at Pinnacle before taking her defensive game to Army West Point.

Zamari Christensen | 2027 | S | Woods Cross High School

Zamari Christensen is putting together another strong season at Woods Cross as she heads toward the end of her high school career. The 5-foot-10 Saint Mary's commit currently leads both her team and the state of Utah in assists, already reaching 403 assists this season. Christensen has been producing at a high level since her freshman year, when she recorded 578 assists, 215 digs and 39 aces. As a sophomore, she took another step forward with 931 assists, 277 digs, 51 aces, 102 kills and a .357 hitting percentage, earning MVP, First Team All-State and First Team All-Region honors. A two-time All-American and NTDP athlete, Christensen is now leading the state in assists,and is looking to make her final high school season another standout chapter before heading to Saint Mary's.

Coco Lewis | 2027 | OH/OPP | Paul VI Catholic High School

Coco Lewis is off to a strong start in her final high school season at Paul VI Catholic. The 6-foot-0 Virginia commit currently leads her team in kills with 23, averaging 3.3 kills per set while hitting .250 early in the season. Lewis enters her senior year with First Team All-District and First Team All-Region honors already on her résumé. She has also been ranked second in Virginia and first among outside hitters in the state, while earning a UA NEXT 2025 invitation. With her final high school run just getting underway, Lewis is already taking on a major offensive role for Paul VI before heading to Virginia.

Cat Nygaard | 2027 | LIB/DS | Girls Preparatory School

Cat Nygaard is making a major impact in her final high school season at Girls Preparatory School. The 2027 William & Mary commit currently leads her team with 126 digs and 6.0 digs per set, ranking first in the D-II AA East Region in digs. Nygaard has been a consistent defensive standout throughout her high school career, earning TSSAA DII-AA All-Region honors, Defensive Player of the Year at Girls Prep and TVBCA All-State recognition. She also reached 1,000 career digs during her junior season and has been named an AVCA Phenom, AVCA All-Region selection and AVCA Honorable Mention All-American. With her senior season underway, Nygaard is continuing to set the tone defensively for Girls Prep before taking her game to William & Mary.

Hayden Mandsager | 2027 | OH/OPP | Cathedral High School

Hayden Mandsager is taking on a big role early in her final high school season at Cathedral. The 6-foot-1 Ball State commit currently leads her team in kills per set at 3.0, continuing to be a key offensive piece for the program. Mandsager has already earned recognition on the IndyStar Freshman Standout Team and IndyStar Super Team Honorable Mention, along with a 2024 UA NEXT invitation. She also helped her team finish fifth in the Open Division at the 2024 AAU Nationals. With her senior season underway, Mandsager is looking to make the most of her final run at Cathedral before heading to Ball State.

Lola Peters | 2027 | S/OPP | Plano West High School

Lola Peters is taking on a major role for Plano West in her final high school season. The 6-foot-1 Tennessee commit currently leads her team with 348 assists, ranking fifth in 6A Region I District 6. As a versatile S/OPP, Peters brings the ability to contribute both as a setter and an attacker. With her senior season underway and her next chapter at Tennessee already set, she is looking to finish her high school career by continuing to lead Plano West's offense.

Jenny Glushakov | 2027 | OPP/OH | Lake Highland Prep

Jenny Glushakov is making her presence felt at the net during her final high school season at Lake Highland Prep. The 6-foot-2 Chicago commit currently ranks No. 5 in 3A District 6 in blocks, giving Lake Highland Prep a strong defensive presence at the net. A 2025 UA NEXT attendee, Glushakov brings high-level experience to the OPP/OH position. With her senior season underway, she is looking to make an impact on both sides of the net before heading to Chicago.

Mia Ray | 2027 | OH/DS | North Gwinnett High School

Mia Ray is off to a strong start in her final high school season at North Gwinnett. The 6-foot Charleston Southern commit currently leads her team in kills per set at 3.5, hitting percentage at .300 and service aces with 39, making an impact across multiple areas of the court. Ray has continued to build an impressive résumé throughout her high school career, earning First Team All-Gwinnett County and First Team All-Region honors in both 2023 and 2024, along with Georgia All-State recognition in 2024. She was also a 2024 UA NEXT invitee, an AVCA Phenom Watch List selection and traveled internationally with the A5 Select International Team in 2024. Now in her senior season, Ray is leading North Gwinnett in several key categories as she prepares for her next chapter at Charleston Southern.
