Teams to Watch at the Beast of the Southeast

Several high-powered teams headline the watch list at Beast of the Southeast, starting with A5 16 Gabe, who will be playing up in 17 Open and may enter the weekend as the favorites. Their entire lineup is loaded with Division I prospects, many of whom we highlighted at Stop 1 of the Tour of Texas, and they’ll be tested immediately against older competition. NCVA 16 Diamond arrives as the top-ranked team in 16 Open, with their 15 Diamond squad carrying the same national pedigree and depth.

A5 15 Kelly will also be playing up an age group, joined by A5 14 Kip, with both teams eager to show just how physical and competitive they are against older fields. Alliance 16 Ren brings a handful of Division I prospects and will be pushing for a top finish, while their 15 Ren group features several big-time names to keep an eye on as well. CUVC is once again a program no one wants to see in their bracket, with their 17s, 16s, and 15s all capable of making deep runs.
