TAV’s Jayden Fitzgerald Headed to Georgia State

2026 OH/DS Jayden Fitzgerald of TAV has verbally committed to Georgia State University, giving the Panthers a versatile athlete who has consistently proven she can impact matches in multiple ways. Fitzgerald has built a strong résumé throughout both her high school and club career, standing out as a player capable of contributing offensively while also bringing stability and consistency in the back row.

Her list of accomplishments includes being named 2023 Utility Player of the Year, along with earning First Team All-District honors twice, Academic All-District recognition twice, and multiple selections to the AVCA Phenom Watch List. That combination of athletic production and academic consistency reflects the type of all-around athlete she has developed into over the years.

Fitzgerald’s ability to play both outside hitter and defensive specialist gives her unique value at the next level, especially with the versatility and adaptability she brings to the court. Georgia State is adding a player with experience, strong ball control, and the ability to contribute in multiple phases of the game as she heads into the next chapter of her career.
