This week’s spotlight shines on rising star Reese Robins, the 6’5” opposite attacker from Mansfield, Texas, who has made a major leap this spring.
Originally a middle blocker, Robins transitioned to the right side and has quickly become a force. In the 2024 season, she was a defensive standout—known for her blocking presence at the net. But this spring, it’s her offensive game that’s turning heads.
Robins led the Cardinals in kills during their five-set spring showdown against Tennessee, a clear sign she’s finding her rhythm as a go-to attacker. Her ability to score at a high level from the right pin gives Louisville a major boost heading into the fall.
With the Cardinals graduating a significant portion of their offensive production from last season, Robins is poised to fill a critical role. If her spring performance is any indication, she’s ready to become a consistent and dynamic point scorer for the 2025 squad.
Keep your eye on number 25—she’s just getting started.
