Metro 2030 Nadia Wooten newest sign that the sport is moving UP

8th grader and Class of 2030 OH Prospect Nadia Wooten plays with the powerhouse METRO VB Club out of DC and they have long been known for producing some stellar athletes, no doubt.  But, at 14 years old Wooten is scoring off the TOP Testing Charts already, posting a 124" approach touch BEFORE her 14s Club season.

The scary thing is that it doesn't overly shock us anymore to see a stat like this anymore, but don't get us wrong (Nadia is showing 99th percentile athleticism for her age group no doubt) the achievement isn't a daily occurrence by any means.  It does show the gain that volleyball is taking capturing the best athletes in America right now and that the P4's are soon going to need to come up with a new measuring standard besides the "10-foot club".

Verticality is the name of the game right now at the elite level and it is mind-blowing and a thing of art to watch these young female athletes get stronger and go higher!
