Mandela Masimini is becoming THAT hot PROSPECT in the middle

Getting another PPV bump that puts her solidly in the Red Prospect Level, being invited to her 2nd consecutive USAVB NTDP event, and climbing the middle blocker charts at a steady pace this year are all very positive signs that VA Juniors Mandela Masiminis is definitely a name that college coaches are more than just a little interested in as they start to get serious about June.  "For some reason, she is one of the girls from the D.C. area who has been passed over a little bit, but she is the real deal," a source told me last week.  "She is coming on gradually, and although some of the top 15 programs may look at her as a #2 or #3 option right now, Mandela impresses people more each big event she gets to perform at.  Give her another strong NTDP, who knows."

Look for her to crack the Elite Red Prospect level before NTDP, if not for sure after, and with the kind of showing some are predicting she could come out of that weekend as a Silver Level middle blocker prospect, you never know.
