Louisville Volleyball welcomed four top recruits to campus for an official visit weekend that showcased both the program’s competitive edge and its team culture. Between dominant wins on the court and team bonding off it, the Cardinals made a strong impression on the next generation of talent.
The recruits in attendance included:
• Carsyn Comer, 2027 middle blocker from Munciana Volleyball Club
• Lizzie Bower, 2027 libero from Idaho Crush Volleyball Club
• Kelani Ledaja Brewer, 2027 outside hitter from Triangle Volleyball Club
• Elsi Karjanlahti, 2026 libero from LP Kangasala VBC (Finland)
The weekend opened Friday night with Louisville’s sweep of Virginia Tech at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena, setting the tone with an energized home crowd and a high-level performance from the No. 4-ranked Cardinals.
Saturday’s schedule featured a team practice viewing, dinner at Jeff Ruby’s, and a photo shoot complete with jersey swaps and confetti cannons, a nod to the program’s personality and attention to detail. The weekend closed with another ACC win on Sunday as Louisville defeated Virginia in four sets.
For the visiting recruits, it was a first-hand look at what makes Louisville Volleyball one of the nation’s premier programs: elite competition, strong team chemistry, and a fan base that fills the arena with energy every match.
