Create a Player ProfileEarly National Class Rankings Have 'Jays at #9

After the first week of 2027 Open Recruiting the Creighton Blue Jays class comes in at #9 nationally in the VBAdrenaline.com rankings. They have the #1 class in the Big East Conference.
VBAdrenaline determines their rankings by taking an average of the PPV scores of all commits in each school's recruiting class and that is a school's recruiting score for that year. If a school has less than 3 athletes signed to a class they are penalized 10% of their average.
"I think when I look at Creighton's class I think a couple of things right away; Consistency and Higher Overall Talent." Darren Tipton owner of VBAdrenaline.com stated "We noted that several times leading up to the 15th, this program is going to bring in better classes because they are bringing in better athletes to camp."
Do the rankings move much during the year? "Oh I think there is room for movement for sure. I look at a kid like Robinson and I can see her PPV going up 15 more points before she leaves for college. Also, other schools have work left on their classes which will affect their averages. They may be very high right now because they only have one very highly evaluated athlete so when they add another one, chances are that score drops."
Regardless, of exact number the bottom line is that Creighton brought in a nationally recognized class and three solid athletes that absolutely can push for playing time at the P4 level in a couple years and add to the Creighton program. But, it is fun to be able to check the rankings every week and see your favorite team near the top:)
