New Player Profiles: Rising Talent From Across the Country

Katie Ryan | 2031 | MB | Kairos Elite | PPV: Watchlist

Katie Ryan is one of the younger players already earning attention on our 2031 Watch List, and her physical profile gives us plenty of reason to keep following her development. At 5'11" with a 115" approach touch, Ryan already has impressive numbers for her age, particularly as a middle blocker. With another club season ahead, Ryan will have plenty of opportunities to continue building her game and adding to her résumé. For now, we're keeping a close eye on her progress throughout the fall and will revisit her PPV with a more complete evaluation once her next club season gets underway. She is exactly the type of young prospect we're excited to track early.

Daniela Hatziiliades | 2029 | OH/DS | Smash VBC | PPV: 75

Daniela Hatziiliades is bringing a different kind of profile to the 2029 class. The 5'6" OH/DS has already earned recognition as a LOVB Player of the Month, and her athletic numbers stand out for a player her size. Hatziiliades has posted a 116" approach touch and 112" block touch, showing the explosiveness that allows her to compete above her listed height. Her OH/DS role also gives her the opportunity to impact the game in multiple phases, and her LOVB recognition shows that her play has already caught attention. As she continues developing, Hatziiliades is a player worth keeping an eye on in the 2029 class.

Delaney Lauer | 2028 | OH/OPP | NORCO | PPV: 90.5 | Clemson Commit

Delaney Lauer is one of the biggest risers in the 2028 class, and her latest evaluation reflects just how much her résumé has grown. The 6'1" OH/OPP has put together an impressive high school résumé, earning 2025 Colorado 4A Player of the Year, back-to-back CHSAA First Team All-State honors and helping University High School capture the 2025 Colorado 4A state championship. She also holds the school's single-season record with 402 kills. Her serve-receive numbers are just as impressive, finishing the 2025 prep season with 407 receptions and only 27 errors. That production carried into club, where Lauer was a 2026 USAV Girls Junior National Champion in the 17 USA Division and served as captain of NORCO 17 Black. Add in extensive college camp exposure and a commitment to Clemson, and the picture is pretty clear: this is a player whose trajectory is high level. At 120" approach touch and 115" block touch, Lauer has the physical profile to go with the production. The résumé, the testing numbers and the continued growth all point in the same direction, making this 90.5 PPV a well-earned jump for one of the 2028 class's biggest risers.

Eva Bautista | 2031 | Lib/DS | OTVA | PPV: 80 | Watchlist

Eva Bautista is one of the younger players we're keeping an eye on in the 2031 class. The 5'5" libero/DS currently holds a PPV of 80 on our Watchlist, with a more detailed college PPV evaluation still to come. For now, Bautista is a player we're looking forward to following more closely throughout the year as we learn more about her game, athletic profile and continued development. Her evaluation will become more accurate as she gains more experience, giving us plenty to watch as the 2031 class begins to take shape.

Aniyah Reliford | 2029 | OPP/OH | Miami Hype | PPV: 77.5

Aniyah Reliford is an intriguing 2029 pin with the physical profile to keep an eye on. The 6'0" OPP/OH recently added a Miami Select Camp to her résumé, giving her an opportunity to compete in a high-level environment close to home. Reliford's numbers stand out as well, posting a 118" approach touch and 117" block touch. That combination of size and athleticism gives her plenty to build on as she continues developing on the pin. With another season ahead, Reliford is a 2029 name we're looking forward to following more closely.

Sydney Lewis | 2029 | MB/OPP | Paramount High School | PPV: 87

Sydney Lewis has already built a strong résumé early in her high school career, entering the 2029 class as a three-year varsity player with experience on a state championship team at Riverside High School. She has also competed at the club level with a 15U Open bid, adding high-level experience against strong competition. At 6'1", Lewis brings impressive physical numbers to the middle/right side, including a 119" approach touch and 116" block touch. She has also continued putting herself in front of college programs, attending select camps at Virginia, Brown and James Madison, among others. With the combination of varsity experience, championship pedigree and a strong physical profile, Lewis is a player with plenty of momentum heading into the next stage of her development.

Molly Maranzana | 2029 | MB/OPP | OTVA | PPV: 78.7

Molly Maranzana brings valuable experience to the 2029 class, earning Team Florida All-Stars recognition twice. The 6'0" MB/OPP has the positional flexibility to contribute on either the middle or right side while continuing to develop her game. Maranzana also has a strong physical foundation, posting a 116" approach touch and 108" block touch. With her experience at the state level and plenty of room to continue developing, she's a player we're looking forward to following as her profile continues to take shape.

Amelie Pankonin | 2027 | OH/DS | Northern Lights | PPV: 86.4

Amelie Pankonin enters the 2027 class with a résumé that speaks for itself. The 6'0" OH/DS was named Big Rivers Conference Player of the Year and has earned Wisconsin All-State honors in both 2024 and 2025, establishing herself as one of the standout players in her state. Pankonin also brings an impressive physical profile to the pin, with a 121" approach touch and 116" block touch. She continued her recruiting exposure with camp stops at Duke and Virginia Tech, adding another layer to an already strong high school career. With the production, recognition and athletic numbers already in place, Pankonin's 86.4 PPV reflects a proven 2027 prospect with a lot to offer on both sides of the ball.

Anniston Odom | 2030 | MB/OPP | OTVA | PPV: Watchlist

Anniston Odom is a 2030 prospect we're adding to our Watchlist as we continue getting a better look at her game. The 5'9" MB/OPP brings positional flexibility at a young age, and we'll be watching her development closely throughout the upcoming club season. As we get more film and a larger sample of her play, we'll be able to build a more complete evaluation of Odom's strengths and potential. For now, she's a Watchlist name we're looking forward to following through the end of the club season.
