Ducks Land Eichert. Huge Boost to '26 Class

Her wait is over, and 2026 Outside Hitter Laura Eichert, of Washington, has found her new home.  The Gold Level Prospect and America's 200 Top 50 recruit waited and looked at several P4 schools after decommitting from San Diego this summer, and has committed to the Oregon Ducks.  Eichert's process wasn't easy, and she learned all about the good and bad of volleyball recruiting this time around, looking at programs of all sizes all around the country before deciding on the Oregon program near her home and family.

Signing the talented Eichert is a huge shot in the arm for new Head Coach Trent Karstens and his first-year staff and boosts their 2026 recruiting class (Eichert with a 274 PPV and a top 7 overall OH in the class).
