Create a Player ProfileAn Elite Lineage: The Bower Sisters

The Bower family has built one of the most impressive volleyball lineages in the country, with all seven daughters emerging as high-level players. Morgan and Whitney, both Top 50 recruits, have already graduated after standout careers at BYU, while Eden followed as another top recruit and is currently competing at Auburn. Alex, a former Top 15 recruit, is now setting at BYU, continuing the family’s impact at the collegiate level. The next wave is just as strong, led by Elizabeth, a 2027 Louisville commit and Silver-level libero prospect, along with Rachel, a Silver-level outside hitter in the 2029 class. The youngest, Eva “Cat” Bower, a 7th grader in the 2031 class, is already a Silver-level prospect and is playing up alongside Rachel on the Idaho Crush 16s, flashing the size, skill, and athleticism to project as a future Gold or even Diamond-level recruit. With a father who played basketball at BYU and a mother, Caroline, who played volleyball at BYU and now serves as their club coach, the Bower name is widely known in college volleyball as elite, making Idaho Crush 16s and 17s must-watch teams as the sisters continue to cook.
What separates the Bower sisters is not just their talent, but a shared volleyball IQ and competitive edge that shows up across age groups and positions. Growing up in a gym-first household, the game has been part of their daily rhythm, and it shows in their composure, physicality, and understanding of how to compete at a high level. Each sister brings her own strengths, yet they share the same foundation that college coaches consistently look for when evaluating top prospects. It’s why the Bower name carries immediate credibility across the recruiting landscape and why nearly every program in the country would love to add one (or several) of them to their roster. As the younger sisters continue to play up and close the gap on those before them, the next chapter of the Bower lineage may be the most exciting yet.
