Offensively, she has shown the ability to create points from the outside with a variety of shots and a good feel for finding open space. Lainey Holt

2030 | MB | Michigan Elite

Lainey Holt earns a spot among this week's risers after catching attention with her continued development and recent recruiting exposure. The Michigan Elite middle blocker recently attended Central Michigan's camp, adding another opportunity to showcase her game in front of college coaches. At 5'10", Holt brings a strong physical presence for the 2030 class. Watching her on video, her length, strength, and athletic ability stand out immediately. She plays with a maturity beyond her age, showing the type of foundation that gives her plenty of room to continue developing into a high-impact middle blocker. For a 2030 prospect, Bourne already shows a level of composure and consistency that makes her particularly interesting to follow this early in her development. Bourne has also gained valuable exposure through the camp circuit, recently attending SMU's camp, giving her another opportunity to compete in a college environment and continue learning what the next level demands. Her UA NEXT MVP recognition adds another important piece to her résumé, but what stands out most is how naturally she plays defense. Bourne looks comfortable reading the court, settling into serve receive, and making the routine play consistently while also showing the instincts to create something when the rally gets difficult. There's obviously a lot of volleyball still ahead of her at this age, but that's exactly what makes Bourne exciting. She already has a strong defensive foundation, and with years of physical and technical development ahead, she is a 2030 player worth keeping on the radar.
