Weekly Risers: This Week’s Movement

Kamryn Roberts | Libero/DS | Mintonette Sports | PPV 84.6

Roberts earns a strong rise this week after announcing her verbal commitment to the University at Buffalo on June 1, 2026, adding a Division I decision to an already impressive body of work. The Mintonette libero/DS has continued to stack meaningful accomplishments at both the club and high school levels, most notably helping power her team to the 2025 AAU 16 Premier National Championship. She has also remained on the national radar with AVCA Phenom recognition in 2025 after previously landing on the AVCA Phenom Watch List in both 2023 and 2024, showing the kind of long-term consistency that matters in the back row. Her high school résumé is just as strong. Roberts helped Pleasant High School to a 2025 Division V State Final Four appearance after being part of a 2024 Ohio Division VI State Runner-Up finish, proving she has been a key contributor in winning environments year after year. Individually, she picked up 2025 First Team All-Central District and First Team All-Conference honors, while also earning Pleasant’s Best Defensive Player Award, a fitting reflection of the impact she makes on the floor. What stands out about Roberts’ rise is how complete the résumé has become. She has been part of deep postseason runs, has performed on major club stages, and now has a Division I commitment to show for it. For a libero/DS, that combination of team success, individual recognition, and sustained visibility across multiple seasons makes this a very deserved jump in the Weekly Risers conversation.
