VBAdrenaline Adds Former Oregon Recruiting Coordinator David Butler to Staff

Sioux Falls, SD:

VBAdrenaline has officially added 20-year volleyball coaching veteran David Butler to its evaluations staff, the company announced late Thursday.  "I'm excited to officially announce David as a team member and bring him on as Step 1 of our 2026 growth plan," owner Darren Tipton said in the official statement.  "He has been on board as a scouting consultant, but now to be able to bring him in full-time to take over our expanded focus on scouting and deeper player evals is pretty exciting, as he was respected and successful during his time as recruiting coordinator at Oregon, especially.  We intend to truly bring a "college evaluation type experience" to our site and educate interested prospects and families while continuing to improve and expand the reach of the PPV system.

**5 seasons at the University of Oregon, Helped Build the Ducks into a yearly NCAA Tourney Team

**As recruiting Coordinator @ Oregon, 3 of 5 classes ranked in the top 5, and David helped recruit 

1 National Freshman of the Year, one of the program’s most impressive development stories.

**Pre-Oregon, He was the Associate Head Coach and **Recruiting Coordinator at Cal State Fullerton for 3 years. 

**He spent 1 season on staff at Long Beach State. Earlier in his career, he coached at the elite club level, where he developed multiple high-level athletes, including 

1 National Gatorade Player of the Year.

Now based in the Nashville area, David brings his experience, energy, and passion for athlete development to the next generation of players. Known for his eye for talent, relationship-first approach, and commitment to helping athletes reach their potential, he continues to impact the game at every level he coaches

Butler's Role:

David's main role will be athlete evaluation and working with other Pro-Scouting staff (aka watching and commenting on a lot of film).

We will also be adding new segments to the site for different levels of subscriptions that will appeal to different levels of Recruiting Enthusiasts, from die-hard scouts to casual fans, team followers, and especially people wanting to know more about recruiting from an insider's point of view.  

It has been our goal since the inception of the site to be the most respected rankings and evaluations (by coaches) and David will help move us even closer to that goal.

Prospect Combines: David also has extensive experience running camps and college-based recruiting-type camps that truly help athletes get exposure, and VBAdrenaline will launch our first small series of Combine Events that will mix our media exposure and PPV methods with gathered information that college coaches truly want to know from a camp.

Finally, he will be the first step in our growth plan that should lead us into 2026 and help us be able to evaluate 200-300 more athletes than we have in any other season so that is something we are very excited about.  We welcome David, his knowledge, experience and expertise in the evaluation field and recruiting world to make us a better site for athletes.
