The Recap June 24-28: Action in Recruiting the Class of 2027
*With Nationals happening it definitely slowed me down, but it also slowed recruiting verbals for the most part. So I will do an overview of the past five days and catch everyone up as I catch myself on where things stand after two weeks now into the open period.

1 Nyla Livings - Middle TAV PPV 265 - LSU
2 Sofia Simic - Outside Fight Club PPV 241 - Illinois
3. Riley Riggs - Outside Dynasty PPV 219 - South Carolina
4. Asia Udo-Eme - Outside Forza 1 PPV 247 - Arizona
5. Aspen Brown - Opposite Houston Skyline PPV 225 - Colorado
6. London Evans - Setter Munciana PPV 205 - Marquette
7.. Kaitlyn Herweg - Libero SCVC PPV 227 - Indiana
8. Bryn Meyer - Outside Legacy PPV 210 - Clemson

Staff Shouts
- LSU: Tigers adding SEC athletes left and right. The Livings’ twins were a statement for sure. This class is the expectation in Baton Rouge, near the top of the SEC and full of athletes, with a couple that can push for early playing time. Well done!!
2. Arizona: Love the players and the fit for the ‘Cats. Udo-Eme/Welker combo looks great to me because of the conference it’s in. This is a great Big XII fit and will have much more success and I love the decision on both ends.
3. Ole Miss: Didn’t have a sign in this stretch the Rebs got their work done early, but this is a program I talked about at the end of last season and one I just felt has some MO starting to build under the regime and building. You look at their class and it is another (probably similar to an Alabama) where Nationally it may not wow you with big NTDP names, but there are some high ceiling kids regionally that shouldn’t be overlooked, also to be noted the type of athletes this staff has done a great job of building with the first few years of the program.
Addison Harris looks to be potential star of the class out of Memphis Metro and probably slightly under valued right now at a 211 PPV will anchor the class. I have always like Idaho Crush Opp Reese Meier (again probably under valued) PPV 180 is just a very solid, aggressive volleyball player that will really help the Ole Miss program if she grows anymore at all.
I think you can expect another few slow days of verbal commits starting Monday and probably lasting through the 4th of July with the 16U Nationals starting and then Independence Day. Most coaches give recruits a break during nationals and then most people will at least take time to break on the 4th. Then you can expect a rush on the 5th again through camp rush. Remember visits can begin in August so those that were able to hold out can begin taking those visits in August and may do so and still verbal before their HS season start early to mid August. The trend has been that if you haven’t committed by the start of prep season then most prospects are waiting until after their prep season ends in November/December.
Few Under The Radar Gems from this last few days that are great fits in their programs:
Malia Rogers OH Six Pack (IA) PPV 202 Purdue
Molly Drake OH Jersey Juniors PPV 191 Rutgers
Amelia Albright Setter Austin Juniors PPV 215 Florida
Jenna Brooks L/DS Top Select PPV 180 Auburn
Lila Green L/DS WAVE PPV 190 Kansas
