The Next Wave: Player Profiles ‘30 and ‘31, Week 17

While we don’t rank the Class of 2031 due to their early stage of development, there is no shortage of standout talent from these young athletes worth recognizing. We’re excited to highlight these prospects from the Classes of 2030 and 2031 and look forward to tracking their growth and sharing their journeys.

Class of 2030

​

Reese Bettleyon: OH- Omni 15 National

At 6’1”, Reese Bettleyon brings a strong physical foundation to the outside hitter position, pairing her size with experience competing on the national stage. She wrapped up the season at USAV Nationals and has already gained valuable exposure at college camps with Stanford and UCLA, giving her an impressive foundation to build on as her recruiting journey develops.

Ala Grabarczyk: OH- Husky Volleyball 14-1 National

Ala Grabarczyk is an outside hitter with Husky Volleyball 14-1 National who has already built a strong resume of competitive experience, including a selection to the 2026 U15 NERVA All-Stars. After closing out her season at USAV Nationals, she has continued developing through clinics, showcases, and a UConn college camp, setting the stage for continued growth in the years ahead.

Jemma Lesniewski: libero/DS- Synergy 15-2 National

Jemma Lesniewski has already made an early impact as a freshman on the Roseville High School varsity squad, bringing infectious energy to the court from the libero/DS position. Alongside her indoor experience with Synergy 15-2 National, Lesniewski also competes in beach volleyball, giving her another avenue to sharpen her skills and continue building her all-around game.

Meyah Moutray: OPP/RS- Shockwave 15- Black 

Meyah Moutray brings plenty of attacking ability, with a powerful swing that can make her a difficult matchup at the net. Her work through clinics, showcases, and additional outside training reflects a continued commitment to developing her game and expanding her offensive impact.

Jimin Seung: OH- TStreet 15- Chandler 

At 6’1”, Jimin Seung has already stepped into the varsity lineup at Mater Dei High School, gaining valuable experience against strong high school competition as an outside hitter. Her time with TStreet 15-Chandler, along with a UCLA college camp appearance, adds to an intriguing early résumé for a prospect with plenty of room to continue developing.

Emma Nguyen: MB- Oahu 15 Black 

Emma Nguyen has established herself as a reliable presence in the middle, bringing consistency to the position. Her experience at UA Next Camp, combined with continued outside work and training, gives Nguyen a solid foundation as she looks to expand her impact and take another step forward in her development.

Addy Beck: libero/DS- Armor Elite 14 Nationals 

Addy Beck has put together a successful club season, capped by a trip to USAV Nationals, while also contributing at the varsity level for Crimson High School. Her experience across both school and club volleyball provides a strong foundation as she continues to grow as a libero/DS and takes on new opportunities in the years ahead.

Amanda Querales: libero/DS- MVA 15 Julio Elite 

Amanda Querales brings a great attitude and dependable serve game to the back row for MVA 15 Julio Elite, giving her team energy and consistency from the libero/DS position. She also helped USA All-Stars Team Florida to a third-place finish, adding valuable competitive experience to a resume that continues to take shape.

Class of 2031

​

Stella Thomas: libero/DS- 1United 14 National White

Stella Thomas brings experience from both indoor and beach volleyball, competing with 1United 14 National White. She finished her season at USAV Nationals with an 11th-place overall finish and has already gained college exposure at an SMU camp, adding to an encouraging early résumé.

Jessalyn Watkins: OH- OTVA 14 T Jody 

At 6’0”, Jessalyn Watkins offers an intriguing combination of size and potential on the outside for OTVA 14 T Jody. Her successful season, highlighted by a spot on the USA All-Stars Team Florida U15 roster, gives her an early platform to continue developing and making her mark in the years ahead.

Olivia Coneway: libero/DS- Arete 14 NT 

Olivia Coneway has already shown she can compete against strong national competition, helping her team to a fifth-place finish in the Open division at USAV Nationals after triple qualifying. A beach volleyball background adds another layer to her game, and with that experience already under her belt, Coneway has plenty of room to continue building toward a promising future.

Sarai Smith: OH- EMV 14-1 National 

Sarai Smith brings a shifty, quick-moving style to the outside hitter position for EMV 14-1 National, giving her an ability to stay active and make plays across the court. After finishing her season at USAV Nationals, Smith has gained valuable experience that can help fuel her continued growth as an emerging member of the 2031 class.

Marley Franken: OH- Dynasty 15 Black 

Marley Franken has developed a noticeable physical presence at the net as an outside hitter for Dynasty 15 Black, giving her plenty to build around at this stage of her career. With additional outside work complementing her club experience and a season that concluded at USAV Nationals, Franken is continuing to lay the groundwork for her future development.

Cambria Francois: MB- Drive Nation 14 Black 

Cambria Francois is continuing to build her foundation as a middle blocker for Drive Nation 14 Black, gaining additional experience through showcases and clinics. Her attendance at a Dallas Christian College camp adds to an encouraging early resume, with plenty of room to develop her game as she moves forward.

Kailey Rader: OH- One 14-1

Kailey Rader has already put together an impressive resume, earning All-American honors at the 2026 AAU Championships and helping claim the 14 Aspire Division championship. Her powerful swing gives her plenty of offensive firepower and makes her an intriguing outside hitter to watch as she continues to develop.
