The Next Wave: Player Profiles ‘30 and ‘31, Week 16

While we don’t rank the Class of 2031 due to their early stage of development, there is no shortage of standout talent from these young athletes worth recognizing. We’re excited to highlight these prospects from the Classes of 2030 and 2031 and look forward to tracking their growth and sharing their journeys.

Class of 2030

​

Arlene Garrick: MB- USA South 14 Purple 

At 6'1, Arlene Garrick is a promising middle blocker for USA South 14 Purple who is already gaining valuable experience at the high school level as a freshman on varsity at First Baptist Academy. She has continued to build her recruiting profile through college camps at UCF, FGCU and Charlotte, while earning a Rising Star Award at Davidson College Camp, showcasing the potential to make an impact as she continues to develop.

Lillian Reimer: OH- Charge Tulsa 15.1 Capelli

Lillian Reimer is an exciting outside hitter who helped her team finish third at the 2026 USAV Nationals. She has continued to gain exposure through a UA Next Camp appearance and a college camp featuring coaches from Baylor, USC, Louisville, KU and more, giving her valuable opportunities to showcase her abilities at the next level.

Sasha Ringhofer: OH- HPSTL 15 Royal 

Sasha Ringhofer brings plenty of energy to the court for HPSTL 15 Royal, pairing an aggressive, powerful swing with a competitive presence that helps elevate her team. After closing out her season at USAV Nationals, she has shown the ability to compete on a big stage and has plenty of room to continue developing into an impactful outside hitter.

Laura Aubrey: OH- Legacy 15-1 

At 6’0, Laura Aubrey has already put together an impressive resume with Legacy 15-1, capturing both the 2026 USAV National Championship and AAU National Championship. Her experience with USAV NTDP adds another layer to her development, giving her a strong foundation as she continues to grow into a high-level outside hitter.

Havanah Lowery: OH- SC Rockstar 

Havanah Lowery continues to build her game with SC Rockstar, bringing a strong work ethic and commitment to improvement both on and off the court. A UA Next Camp attendee and Stanford College Camp participant, she is gaining early exposure to opportunities that can help shape her development as an outside hitter.

Mallory Pfab: OPP/RS- Iowa United 16-1 Elite 

Standing at 6’2”, Mallory Pfab provides a reliable presence on the right side and has gained experience competing at a high level, finishing her season at USAV Nationals. Her college camp stops at South Dakota, Iowa State and UNI have given her opportunities to continue developing her game while getting early exposure to the next level.

Roman Nixon: setter- Livewire 14 Boost 

Roman Nixon helped her team claim first place in Gold at Festival Fiesta, adding a strong result to her developing resume as a setter. She has also made appearances at showcases and clinics, gaining opportunities to sharpen her skills while building toward a promising future in the sport.

Layla Campbell: OH- Vegas United 15 Adidas

Layla Campbell made a statement with her team by taking first in Gold at the Emperor’s Cup without dropping a single set. Her physical presence at the net, paired with strong academics, gives her a well-rounded foundation as she continues to develop as an outside hitter.

Class of 2031

Amaya Molino: libero/DS- TStreet Sierra Nevada 16-1 James 

Amaya Molino has gained experience competing against older athletes, showing the poise and competitiveness of a developing libero/DS. With appearances at showcases, clinics and Nevada Volleyball College Camp, she is taking early steps toward building a strong foundation for her future in the sport.

Alyssa Hurtado: OH- Colorado Juniors 14 Jen

Alyssa Hurtado has put together a consistent season, regularly helping her team finish near the top of the standings before closing out the year at USAV Nationals. She also competes in AA-rated beach volleyball, adding another dimension to her game and giving her additional opportunities to develop as an outside hitter.

Orelia Eid: libero/DS- Kansas Rise VBC 14 Blue National 

Orelia Eid brings positive energy and a team-first mindset to Kansas Rise VBC 14 Blue National, earning the Selfless Award at Nike Volleyball Camp for her willingness to put her teammates first. She has also gained experience competing against older athletes, a challenge that continues to shape her growth and potential as a libero/DS.

Emily Graves: OH- Fighting Angels 16u

Emily Graves continues to expand her game with Fighting Angels 16u, putting in extra work with different trainers to sharpen her skills as an outside hitter. Her strong serving ability is another asset, and with her commitment to improvement, she has plenty of potential to keep progressing in the years ahead.

Kassidy Reynolds: MB- SC Rockstar 13 Lance

Kassidy Reynolds has developed a well-rounded skill set with SC Rockstar 13 Lance, combining a mature volleyball IQ with strong blocking and a physical presence at the net. Her success on the beach and training with JVPA are adding to her experience and giving her more tools to build on as she continues her development as a middle blocker.

Emmie Cole: setter- LAVA West 15M-ER

Emmie Cole closed out her season at AAU Nationals, gaining important experience as a setter on the national stage. Her strong court awareness gives her a solid foundation to build from, with plenty of room to grow and develop her game over the coming years.

Evynne Brennen: OH- AVC 14 Navy 

Evynne Brennen helped her team earn a third-place finish at the 2026 USAV GJNC, adding an impressive result to her growing resume. With experience at the SMU Volleyball College Camp along with various showcases and training sessions, she is continuing to gain opportunities that can shape her development as an outside hitter.
