Heading Fishing:

My guess would be that;

Penn State, Nebraska and Louisville are all finished with their recruiting classes already for

2027. That’s a nice three days work to wrap up your recruiting class for the year.

Favorite moves of the day: Just a few of the moves I loved from Tuesday (late Monday night) and why.

 Isabella Lopez to Wake Forrest. I thought she was an under the radar Oppo all season for Tribe and to me she looks like she has a huge ceiling and looks the part of a multi-year starter for a P4 team. Plus Wake beat out two SEC teams to get her.

Ella Olson to Texas. This move checks so many boxes for what Texas wanted from this position and Olson is one of the top beach players in America so she can make the transition to beach if things don’t work with Texas indoor. She can also be mobile in the Longhorn program and fill various spots for them.

Fara Bronson to Alabama. I do like what the 'Bama staff is doing by going out and getting prospects from mostly top end clubs that have WON and have played in high-intensity matches their entire careers. Bronson will bring a hard-nose style and tough style and one that is custom to winning that will be great for the program.

Hua Laikona to Nebraska. Hua is leader and a competitor. Nebraska will not be to big for her she can handle everything that comes with it and block out the noise and perform in the environment.

Elizabeth Bower to Louisville. Talk about someone who simply fits a program, that is Bower to the Cards. The Ville will love her and she will acclimate very quickly to the culture and the team first culture. She is one of the nation’s best bros and she lives in the gyn. She will be long past ready to join the program when she arrives for real in 2027.

Peyton Kubik to Pitt was a surprise, but a solid commit none the less. One of the most sought after pins in the class she just seemed a different type of pin than they have taken in the past, but Petrone’s track record at evaluating talent for the program (esp on the pins) speaks for itself and Kubik was sought after by many programs for sure. This will be another Top 5 class it appears for Pitt.

There are some crazy battles going on with some of the best out West as some of West Coast’s top prospects are taking their time and weighing their options. I have been a bit surprised that neither of the B1G Ten schools from Cali (USC or UCLA) were in on one of the top difference makers from the midwest. There is only so much difference making talent out West and with all of Arizona’s top talent heading East again (so far) it’s valuable. The Trojans has such great luck in KC with the 2025 class that just hit campus.

*Westley Matavao would look to be the top recruit that the battle is over right now.

But, it only takes 1 impact maker to for some programs to make a big leap and they aren’t always impact makers at 16 years old either so a lot of recruiting left and so many great players out there. Wednesday will bring more top players finding homes.
