There’s just something about the Midwest that produces gritty, tough athletes, and Indiana is full of them. The state is loaded with clubs that embrace that mentality. Programs like Munciana, Circle City, KiVA, and Pineapple consistently develop competitors who play hard and do things the right way. Cala Haffner - Libero, Pineapple HP - Diamond Level

A lot of people are drawn to liberos who are constantly diving around and making highlight-reel plays, but that’s not what I value most at the position. What I look for are liberos who make the game look easy, and that’s exactly what stands out when watching Cala. She has an extremely advanced ability to read and get to opposing attacks, consistently putting herself in the best position to produce controlled, high-quality digs. When a highlight play is required, she absolutely has that in her arsenal, but she doesn’t rely on it because she rarely has to. Her footwork in serve receive is smooth, her platform is steady, and her overall control is elite. Cala is very likely the top libero in this entire class, a true Diamond Level athlete.

Jordyn Blair -  MB, Munciana - Silver Level

Munciana is known for running one of the fastest, if not the fastest, offenses of any club in the country. To be successful as a middle blocker in their system, you have to transition quickly and get the ball to the floor fast! Jordyn does an excellent job of both. She possesses great size and length and consistently gets into the air early and ready to attack for her setters. Her arm moves quickly through the hitting zone, allowing her to create sharp angles using her length and vertical jump. Add in her lateral mobility and ability to close blocks, and Jordyn profiles as a strong Silver-level middle blocker prospect.

Chloe Ritchie - Libero, Munciana - Elite Red Level

Chloe is the rock-steady presence every team needs. In serve receive, she takes up a lot of space and, with good footwork and a reliable platform, is a high-percentage passer. Defensively, she reads hitters well and takes strong angles, consistently putting herself in the right position around her blockers. She is the clear captain of her team’s back row, elevating the play of everyone around her with her communication and consistency. Those leadership qualities, paired with her on-court reliability, are what define a true Elite Red P4 libero prospect.

Brooke Neale - Libero, Munciana - Elite Red Level

This class is loaded with high-quality liberos, and Brooke is another standout among them. When watching her play, her high volleyball IQ is immediately evident. From how she reads the opposing offense to the way she anticipates servers in serve receive and communicates with her teammates. Brooke is a libero who makes the game look easy, consistently putting herself in the right position, and when a big, momentum-changing play is needed, she has that ability as well. A rock-solid Elite Red level prospect.

Abbie Powell - MB, Munciana - Red Level

We previously highlighted Abbie when we broke down some of our 2028 middle blockers, and she continues to be a joy to watch on film. She is exceptionally skilled, especially for a middle, and you can immediately tell she’s a coach’s kid. Abbie is a dynamic athlete who is quick off the ground and comfortable in multiple roles. Long term, she projects as a potential transition to the pin, or as a hybrid pin who can still play and attack effectively out of the middle. A high upside Red level prospect.

Reagan Futa - Libero, Munciana - Elite Orange Level

Another Munciana libero on the list?! You bet. Reagan is a very skilled, high-level Elite Orange level DS/libero who does an excellent job playing multiple back-row positions. Her versatility allows her to seamlessly fill different roles, making her an extremely valuable piece on any team she plays for. She brings consistency and control in both serve receive and defensive systems, reads the game well, and competes with confidence. That combination of skill, adaptability, and reliability is what makes her a trusted presence in the back row.

Charlee Groninger - Setter, Circle City - Elite Orange Level

Charlee is a setter with elite footwork, balance, and court awareness. She runs a good tempo with quick, strong wrists and consistently takes the ball in the same spot to keep her sets deceptive. Her ability to create favorable matchups elevates her hitters and gives her team a distinct advantage. Charlee controls her side of the net with confidence and leadership, making her an Elite Orange level D1 prospect that programs should be actively recruiting.

Kyla Hurley - Libero, Pineapple HP - Elite Orange Level

Kyla is our fifth top libero prospect in the state of Indiana for the 2028 class. She is highly skilled, but what stands out most is how well she controls her digs. Don’t let her smaller frame fool you, she consistently gets into excellent position to make precise, controlled plays. Her passing is rock solid and extremely reliable, giving her setters the consistency they need to run Pineapple’s dynamic offense. A true Elite Orange level back-row prospect.

Addy Kilroy - Setter, Munciana - Orange Level

As mentioned earlier, Munciana runs one of the fastest offenses in the country, and setters who train here are exceptionally prepared for the tempo at the next level. Addy is no exception. What sets her apart is her ability to create scoring opportunities for herself. Being left-handed is a huge advantage, she can turn and swing with her dominant hand when she sees an opening, forcing the block to shift and creating better opportunities for her hitters. Addy’s combination of fast-pace experience and offensive instincts makes her an Orange level setter prospect for the next level.

Amaya Zander - OH, Academy - Orange Level

Amaya is a dynamic outside hitter whose jump touches over 10 feet put her on the radar as an Elite Orange level prospect for many D1 coaches. She combines that athleticism with a fast, fluid arm swing, making her a consistent and powerful attacker. A physical pin, she moves well along the net and can effectively hit a variety of sets, showing versatility and a high-level skill set that translates at the next level.

Her combination of physical tools and technical skill makes her a high upside Orange level setter prospect.

Nicole Bontrager - S/OPP, Ignite Elite - Orange Level

Nicole is a high-IQ player and a true coach’s kid. She does an excellent job mixing up her offense while also looking for opportunities to score herself, keeping blockers off balance and her hitters in optimal positions. Her savvy and versatility make her an orange level prospect.

Madeline is a skilled middle blocker developed in the KiVA system, so her technical foundation is strong. She projects most likely as a pin at the next level, using her athleticism and timing to consistently get up for her setter and become a reliable scoring option.
