In another edition of RISERS, the stakes continue to get higher as the days count down to June 15, 2025, and future June 15s! More recruits have been on fire on the court and in conversations!
Kolby Ross - 2028, Outside, Adversity 15 Adidas, PPV 142
Ross is a high-energy flyer who is electrifying to watch. Despite being considered undersized for her position, her springy approach helps her get up and whip the ball down at sharp angles! She already has quite the camp resume with schools like UCLA, Tennessee, and Missouri, which are all seemingly on the rise as well! She has JUMPED into the 2028 picture in Illinois!
Rachel Lewandowski - 2027, Opposite, Tri-State Elite 16 Blue, PPV 118
This June might be the most important of her athletic career, and she has good reason to be excited about it! She does everything well and is just a stud on the right side. As an AVCA Phenom, she will truly have the ability to be open and choose from several quality programs!
Bryn Walcott - 2028, Outside, Sudden Impact 15-1 Typhoon, PPV 191
Having just created a profile with us, Walcott is fresh on our minds, as are some coaches, coming off an outstanding club circuit! A true athlete, she excels in the most complex parts of the game and brings the attitude you want! Watch her at Nationals in June and then make a note as she approaches the 200 Club in a deep 2028 Class of OHs.
Kat Wulff-Smith - 2027, Libero/DS, Dartfrog 16-Black, PPV 165
Smooth Smith continues to add to her impressive list of upcoming summer camps! We highlighted her earlier this month, celebrating the addition of her first P4 camp with Oklahoma. Since then, she has attracted the attention of camps at SMU, BYU, and Utah (virtually perennial tournament teams as of this year)! Kat may be the most active athlete when updating her Player Profile, of anyone on the site. She has quite the variety of schools looking at her come June 15 and has gained interest with her consistent play throughout this season.
Deviryn McCarty - 2028, Libero/DS, Kairos 15-Alpha, PPV 173
McCarty rises because she did it with her play on the court. The physical libero for Kairos 15s seems to fit that mold of the new wave, long and strong. She covers much of the court and has the reach and flexibility to dig and keep many balls alive. The 173 is a big lift from where we originally had her, but it’s still probably low for where she will end the year. Look for her to perform well at USA Nationals in Dallas.
