Player Profile Spotlight: Mallory Mizell, Stars Volleyball Club South Carolina

SEC fans should start paying attention to 2028 OH Mallory Mizell from South Carolina, as SEC coaches are doing so.  The Stars Volleyball Club member is coming off a year of growth and a season that saw her recruiting profile with VBadrenaline explode in the past 7 weeks.

Mizell has camped at 7 different SEC programs so far in 2025, so her talent level is known heading into her big recruiting season.

Her Stars Club continues to gain more national recognition each season and puts out more P4-type talent each year.  This also helps to get more top coaches in their gym to watch practices regularly.  This has helped Mallory's rise as well.  "We learned about her a year ago when we were evaluating someone else in her club she was having a great practice and made our note sheet and hasn't left our top '28s list since," explained a regional scout

Mizell is a 3x All-American at Nationals, so she has taken care of business on the big stage when given the opportunity, and her 17s team won a Natty this June.  She is a versatile player who fits the international mold of a six-rotation do-it-all outside who is more than capable in the back row and loves the back row attack as part of her game.

Though there is obviously so much time before next June it appears Mizell has some definite interest in the SEC conference (go read her Player Profile on VBAdrenaline) to see her Select Camps we will have to see if we can round her up for an interview and get some hints on what camps possibly put certain schools ahead of others moving into her Sophomore season?
