The No. 1 Nebraska Cornhuskers have yet to be challenged in the Big Ten so far this season. The Cornhuskers remain undefeated in Big Ten play and have yet to drop a set.
The Wisconsin Badgers hope to change that Halloween night.
The Badgers, who are tied for second with an 8-2 record in the Big Ten, are coming of sweeps of the Washington Huskies and the Oregon Ducks.
Now, both the Huskers and Badgers face their biggest test of the season.
The Bagers are led by Mimi Colyer, who is coming off one of the best performances of the season against Washington.
The outside hitter finished this past Friday with 20 kills or more, finishing with 25. This is the fifth time this season she has accomplished that. Colyer also added season-bests with 18 digs, four service aces, and five blocks to power UW past the Huskies.
They will need Colyer and libero Kristen Simon to step up their game if they have any chance against Nebraska.
The Huskers seem to be on a mission and have yet to be challenged by anyone in or outside of the conference.
The Cornhuskers are battling the Texas Longhorns for the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, and a loss by either team in conference play could hurt their chances of achieving that goal.
Meanwhile, the Badgers look for a higher seeding themselves in the Big Ten tournament and host the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
