New Player Profiles: Climbing '28s and Legit '27 Commits add Profiles

New Player Profiles Start of Prep Season

Some new commits with big resumes and some impressive 2028s on the rise make up this week’s crop of newest Player Profiles Featured on VBAdrenaline.com

Macey Mount - Class of 2028 -Position: Outside/Opposite -State: Georgia - PPV Level: Green

Mount is a committed athlete who puts in the miles to drive to Florida for club ball each week for more exposure. She has exposure at both pins. She has also been recognized as an AVCA PHENOM Watch List for 2025. Her gains will come as her jump touches improve throughout her recruiting season!

Katla Bjorg Beck - Class of 2028 - Position: Outside -State: Iceland - PPV Level: Blue

Beck is an international player who plays in the Icelandic league. Her Block and Approach touch TOP Scores put her in the 7+ range.

Eireni Scott -Class of 2028 - Position: Outside/Libero/DS - State: Virginia - PPV Level: Green

Scott plays with the talented Paramount club and has visited both Georgetown and Villanova for Select Camps already this past Summer. She has posted over 550 kills for her prep school team in her career already and has proven to be effective as an attacker, but may have to make that decision for the next level between attacking or Lib/DS. Her skills are solid on first contact as well. This will be a big season for Scott and locking in on what direction she wants to go and raising her skill level at that position.

Allie Hudgins - Class of 2027 - Position: Outside - State: Texas - PPV Level: Silver

Hudgins joins our Player Profile list, but is not new to the site. Creighton’s highest PPV-rated recruit ever, Hudgins, is solid and has room to keep progressing before she heads to Omaha. Soon to be featured on our “America’s Top 200 List,” Allie has a big arm, with quick ups, and can find openings in a defense. Adding strength for college durability is where the ceiling is still high for Hudgins, and it has to be what Creighton coaches are very excited about.

Willa Simmons - Class of 2028 - Position: Setter - State: Florida - PPV Level: Green

Simmons has reworked her Player Profile as the IMG attendee is making the move from middle blocker to setter. The athletic Simmons was simply not tall enough at the middle position and had a better opportunity at the next level, making the position switch. She is a New York native and is in her 2nd year at IMG. Simmons is 5’8”, so she will need to have great location and hands as she picks up her new position with the training at IMG.

Amelia Albright - Class of 2027 - Position: Setter - State: Texas - PPV Level: Red

Albright is a member of the first recruiting class under the new regime at Florida. The Austin Juniors product appears to be the next in line for the Gators at the Setter position. Amelia was just named to our “America’s Top 200 list” and has attended NTDP, UA NEXT camp, and is on the AVCA PHENOM Watch List. There will be more eyes on the Austin standout this season (with her Florida commit), watching her a bit closer than in the past. A great chance for Albright to rise up some lists with her new exposure!
